I haven't picked up a coloring book in a while, which is unusual for me. I like to keep a creative outlet and routinely color with brush-tip markers or will paint with acrylic/oil on stretched canvas. That said, I've been overly busy and sadly it took a hurricane to provide me with a much-needed resource for passing the time through creative expression. My husband and I, along with our creator Kitty were forced shelter in a local motel for 6 weeks while our home was being repaired due to flood damage from Hurricane Milton- and it's still continues currently while we're living in the middle of it. I hadn't purchased a coloring book for a while online and I know it can be amore stressful experience than you would think. Depending on what you choose to color with, that alone will decide the Fate of millions of options and filters for future buys. I like to color with markers and because I color with a heavier medium it requires a quality cardstock printing in the book that will allow for ink to properly be applied without seeping through to stain the other pages. This is a huge problem in a lot of coloring books and even ones that are marked and promoted as being printed on one page or having black backed paper for lower saturation issues - I've been through just as many as I have enjoyed that I've unfortunately had to return. These books are amazing. I hadn't heard of the company before and I didn't see these on Amazon prior to my other purchases. Luckily I happened on them while browsing and this three pack was on special at a great price while promoting all the features that I wanted, but at a fraction the cost. I had to try them out. On delivery, the books come in one thick plastic sleeve with each being separated by a piece of cardboard so that the pages are safe from damages. The covers are glossy and thick, high quality cardstock that feels heavy and right in your hand so that while coloring on any surface, whether at a desk or on your lap while sitting on the couch you'll have a tangible and reliable surface for a steady hand. The books come with designs printed on one individual side of each heavy sheet and while I have used them with great success with my markers, I will admit there is a slight - only a slight - bleed behind the page. That said, it's not enough for me to want to return this and it was not an issue that stopped me from pursuing further interest in future purchases buy this publisher. If you're using any set of online brush tip markers, you should be as long as you put the accompanying piece of cardboard behind your page as a safety measure, just in case. I haven't had any issues and it's been a pleasant experience so far. These books will obviously hold up amazingly well too. Colored pencils, gel pens crayons since they can take the ink from a marker well. Making them even more appealing. They come in a convenient spiral bound edition so that there's no any hassle with Katherine. Once you get towards the spine and needing to constantly bend and adjust yourself as you go along. A lot of people may not think about this while coloring but if you are disabled or have an injury of any kind that requires you to pay extra attention to posture or results in pain you know that after you've spent a chunk of time in a tensed up ball existing 'around the book' instead of the other way, you've likely snapped out of your mindful time to find your trigger areas need attention. This is a great book that has the design for anyone to easily use it with whatever materials you have available to use and can easily be enjoyed by all ages across the board. Whether you're 7 or 70, this book is going to have designs that you can use that you'll want to use. And each offering a curious creative time for your personal enjoyment. These came to me at the right time when I had the time to get back into a creative habit and I have since kept it up daily and in looking forward to purchasing other volumes from this publisher. I highly recommend this set.

Was presently surprised by quality & the unique designs. Each book you go half way & then flip it over & start on the other side to meet in the middle. MAKE SURE to cut a piece of thick paper or I use a piece of thick black construction paper to put in between the design you are coloring & the one beneath it because markers bleed through. I consider myself to be a Mandela Coloring Expert Guru at this point & have a very high level of expectations of when I choose a new book to start in. I have over 25 different coloring books which in half are completely filled out & some have 50 pages each. My favorite are the coloring books are the ones who have a thick spiral holding it together at the top & easy to rip out pages if you want to & they also provide a rip out sample page you can put in between the pages to prevent from bleeding. I use all forms of media from ultra fine sharpies to fine tipped sharpies to all the different sets of Sakura Gelly roll pens from bright colors to neon to sparkle to moonlight to pastels & then 2 large 6 extended fold out books of generic gel pens that are metallic or basic colors or sparkle pens to 2 large set of Prismacolor pencils, different style erasers blending tools etc. Needless to say I’ve become a Mandela coloring book snob of sorts & like me Bujie books & pens & am always keeping my eyes peeled for the next best style or type book or new kind of pen or new additional colors that are released to add to the sets I already have & have even gone to lengths of ordering full extra sets of pens just to make sure I don’t run out of the colors I use a lot that you are unable to buy individually or some that they discontinued making so I have been forced to go on eBay & buy old sets from others to have the piece of mind knowing I have what I need & of course end up with a ton of extra colors I don’t need which I usually end up putting together starter sets for someone & gift them a book & set of pens to start their obsession like I now have. lol 😂

The paper quality is fantastic. I finally used my alcohol markers and it barely bled through the page. Patterns are fun and very pretty. I gave my mother in law one of the books and she loves it as well. Definitely will order again.

I'm an avid colorer. I'm an adult so I like more complex designs. The additional lines for different colors is something I usually do myself (shading). The additional lines are something I need to get use to. There are examples of ways to color every picture which clarify what the picture is. Without them it can be difficult to see each element in the picture. Pages are nice and thick so no bleeding if using markers.

Such a delight and the value is excellent just color tear off gently and place in frame ur favorites that ez I started drawing at 72 yrs old it relaxes me

Eh. Paper quality is fine, but don’t get all 3. The animal weird one is disappointing

I recently found the calming effects of coloring and I’ve colored about 100 different types of books in my first few months. These are fun and different and make good gifts for friends if they’re into coloring too.

Preciosas escenas y muy variado con bonitas tonalidades y líneas bien definidas. No es tan difícil como se indica ni mucho menos, solo hay que fijarse bien e ir pintando según el color que corresponda. Aconsejo usar una lupa para ver mejor los colores de los modelos. Me encanta, totalmente recomendable
