これは読む本ではなく、写真集です。軍やメーカーが記録用として工場や飛行場で撮影した各型の全体、細部の写真を主に掲載しています。全体の半分がこの様な写真です。残りの3割位が現存機の細部写真、2割が部隊配備後の写真です。部隊配備後の姿を期待すると少し物足りないと思いますが、F4Fという飛行機自体に興味がある場合は、とてもお勧めできる本です。
