Room size - is good enough for unplugged plugs to go that aren't plugged into sockets. Build quality - is rugged and i can indeed stand on it and jump on it without it cracking or snapping the plug box. Sealing - is extra protection from water/ dust accessing your plugs, sockets and prevent water from travelling down the wires into the holes. Also the lid locks on extremely well. Use - very useful for humid zones as i believe that the box itself is the only plastic that absorbs next to 0 percent in water so this can withstand days submerged in water without effecting your sockets. Is it worth the money? YES! You cannot go wrong with this, it's perfect for keeping your areas clean of exposed sockets, plugs and wires. If you have children, pets or dopey friends this should be good to protect your family and friends as well as your beloved electronics. 5/5

Initially this electrical box appears a bit expensive compared with the more common 'waterproof' socket boxes. I bought this to house the driver and controller for some LED lights installed on my patio. For me it provided a perfect solution. It was very sturdy and had plenty of space in it for my needs. The box is easy to instal and knock outs for the cabling were straight forward to use. I was using waterproof/outdoor glands for connections with SWA cable. The cover for this box is held on with four substantial toggle fixings which keep the lid tight shut. I still think it was a little on the pricey side but would probably use this product again for similar applications.

Very good outdoor box. Lots of space inside for 2 extension leads. Numerous holes to feed in plug cables. Lid fits very securely and is definitely water tight. So far mine has lasted through a British winter just fine. No leaks at all. Maybe a bit on the expensive side, but worth it as it just does the job as it is supposed to

I thought it was good to protect electrical cords from the elements, but unfortunately I was wrong as water had somehow gotten into it.

Die Außenbox hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Sie besteht aus sehr hochwertigem Material und ist vollständig wasserdicht – trotz Dauerregen bleibt innen alles trocken. Ich nutze die Box für meine Weihnachtsbeleuchtung, in der eine Steckdosenleiste und mehrere Kabelverbindungen geschützt untergebracht sind. Alles passt gut hinein, und die Box hält Witterung und Feuchtigkeit problemlos stand.

Keeps the electrical connections dry and safe. Lost 1 star because one of the lockable clips falls off when unlocked and lost another star because the cable clamps are easy to lose. I have since needed to buy another one of these and the next one I bought is easier to use.
