Very good!
Birth control in the late 90's...Are you afraid of trying?I have to admit I didn't know what to expect from that release and was pretty much convinced that it was gonna be an awful album from a band that was once great.Well, not at all, Birth control still rocks and very well indeed! The album starts with a great mid tempo track wich is mainly an open road for the guitarist-very talented by the way. This track shows an inspired band willing to keep the soul of the 70's and bringing it into the 90's. And it is basically what happens through the entire album!Desert storm is an excellent track-boogie like tempo-with an endless hammond solo...just great!Jungle Life is in fact a very exciting album, Birth Control shows no signs of tiring and delivers an inspired Hard Rock in the true sense of the way. The singer-only original member-still sounds deep and uses his famous tremolo that makes his voice so unique.Very good album even if the production could have been a little bit better as it is more late 90's than 70's in the sound, but still don't worry no drum machines or loops or major studio tricks, it's just that when you compare it to new bands like FIREBIRD or Spiritual Beggars those sound more 70's than an actual band from that era.Nevermind Birth Control is in great shape on this album!
