I have tried numerous bags and so far these are the only ones I've found that actually stop the odor from getting through. I forget one in the car and the next day I wouldn't have known it was there if I hadn't seen it. The smell does eventually get through after a day or 2 but you have to get up real close to notice. The majority of poop bags are folded so you need to peel them apart, These are NOT like that. They are shiny and slippery and come out of the box one at a time ready to use, No unfolding necessary. They do NOT come on a roll so not compatible with a holder that uses rolls of bags. Even though these are the XS size they work fine for a 60 lb pointer. I wouldn't mind if they were an inch longer but these hold a LOT of poop as is. They are also one of the more expensive bags but they REALLY work.

I rarely leave reviews on anything. I expect that the item I buy, if given 4+ stars "should" work as described (or fit - as is the case with clothing). However, OMG. I never thought these bags would work so well that they truly are odor blocking - not odor eliminating altogether, but they live up to the description. Trust me. I am lucky enough to live in a town that picks up dog waste with other types of garbage. So, I just toss these in the "bin". Even in the VERY hot weather these work so well that my garbage may smell, but I don't have the awful smell I used to have with other dog waste bags. GET THESE. Even at the extra expense, they are worth it.

I have a lot of cats and scoop a lot of poop and noticed my garage can started smelling like a giant litter box…which is disgusting. I tried odor absorbing trash bags, but they didn’t really work. Decided to give these poop bags a try and they really do seal in the smell! Seriously. I was very impressed and my garbage can didn’t smell nearly as bad. The bags are easy to use, thick and durable, and a full size litter scoop fits perfectly into the bag. I scoop way too much poop to buy these on the regular as they are pricy for the number of bags you get in a box, but I highly recommend them and will buy them again in the future!!
