The Best
I have an 06 Chevy LBZ 3500. Back in 2023 I replaced the stock stabilizer with a Monroe model. I recently had my front end rebuilt with an alignment and had a wobble/vibration in the front end afterwards. This vibration was in the front end before the work, but after the repairs it lessened a lot. I talked to my mechanic and he said he wouldn’t think it would cause that much vibration since the shock still had positive pressure. I decided to go with my gut and order a Bilstein this time around to see if it would fix my issue. After installing, it 100% took care of my issue. These are high, but worth every penny. The quality is unmatched and the steering is crazy smooth now. Don’t buy the cheap stabilizer get this one. No my truck did not pull to the right after installing.

Great shocks, good product line
The ride is incredible, after another brand Rancho 5000 the ride is no where comparable. These are night and day difference. I’ve not tried them off road yet, in the city they are smooth. However, the roads are almost like off roading. The stabilizer seems more responsive too. Hope the stainless steel holds up. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best quality, fit, easy of installation, great price point too.

Perfect Fit on My '09 Sierra 2500HD — Huge Steering Upgrade
This Bilstein 5100 steering damper has been a huge upgrade. It fit perfectly on my 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD with no modifications at all. Installation was straightforward and everything lined up exactly as it should. I installed this at the same time I replaced both the inner and outer tie rods, and I had the truck aligned afterward. The results have been excellent. I was a little concerned after seeing some reviews mentioning a pull to the right, but I experienced none of that at all. The steering feel is tight, smooth, and much more controlled. I replaced a Rancho RS5000 steering stabilizer with this Bilstein, and the difference is night and day. The Bilstein feels far more refined and confidence-inspiring. The truck tracks straight, feels more stable, and overall just drives better. I’m extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend this upgrade.

2004 Silverado 2500HD 2WD 6.0 Gas
Works perfect. Does NOT pull to the right at all. Make sure to have a pickle fork handy (the narrow one). 5 whacks and it popped right out. No heat, no penetrating oil. Just a large ball peen hammer and a pickle fork. I torqued both ends at 30 ft lbs. per specs I found on several websites. Very easy to do. 15 minutes and you are done.

Exactly what my truck needed to steer like new again
My 2003 GMC 2500 had a tendency to “hunt” going down the road, small bumps would disrupt the tracking and the steering felt over boosted and light, had an alignment done but no resolution. My truck still had the original stabilizer on it. the truck only has 80,000 miles. but the stabilizer was shot. the new Bilstein stabilazer resolved all three issues. Installation is straight forward, if you have basics mechanical reasoning and ability it’s a fairly simple job (if your vehicle is subject to salt and rust you’ll want penetrating oil) You’ll need to reuse the anchor end bolt the stabilizer comes with new pivot end nylock nut and washer. Took about an hour to install and you’ll need a pickle fork ball joint tool. Truck now drives like it used to and the steering is a pleasure again.

Great upgrade!!!
My Suburban did not have a steering dampener from the factory, all the mounts were there so this simply bolted in place. It made a huge improvement on the steering confidence. Before the dampener the steering always felt twitchy and jerky especially while going over rough roads. Now it solid and straight. and absolutely no pulling to one side like some review say. I am certain these reviews are from people that may not know how a steering dampener works and they see that the piston is positively charged and immediately think it will make the steering pull the the right. Absolutely not the case, yes it is positively charged with nitrogen to keep fluid foaming to a min but is it absolutely nothing that would cause the steering to pull one way or the other.
