What kind of rock are your stones made from? I'm looking for some high quality slate to use for cooking on a bbq, 35 cm diameter.

I don’t think these will be suitable. They are made from imprinted concrete and then treated to look old. They look great as stepping stones

Really well made

Really good quality! Very well made. Quite heavy ( obviously a good thing) used as a feature through a gravel bed. Would have preferred them bigger ( not a complaint, I knew the size i ordered)

Gorgeous

I bought three of these as stepping stones for my slate garden so I didn't damage the slate when watering the plants. They're gorgeous as well as being thick, substantial stepping stones. Well packed, too.
