Initially I thought it was not very thick... But a week later, I think it's absolutely fine. I use a lot of bamboo stuff, but this is the first cutting board. It's made of 3 layers thickness, like plywood is, but bamboo will be FAR more durable. I've done a bit of slicing and chopping, with no sign of use at all on the surface. At half the cost of materials to make my own cutting board, it's also a great value.

Although they are rather thin, these were perfect for what I wanted. I made a TOAST corner- to catch all the crumbs and a COFFEE corner to catch all the 'drips' and sugar sprinkles near my husband's coffee pots. yes- he has two. Makes clean up easier, I slip the boards out, wipe them down with a wet cloth and my kitchen looks a bit more organized.

Defective product - don't buy it! Appeared OK at first but after one month with no usage at all the board became seriously warped, with cracks opening up all along seams on one surface. Second replacement board did the same.

I was disappointed when the cutting board warped after 3 months of low to moderate use. Now it doesn’t sit flat.

Holding up well. Glad I bought it. It had small lines of separation that are not an issue. I've had it for months.

The large bamboo board which covers a large area on my table giving me an expansive workspace that I can use to prepare vegetables, cut a pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, roll out a pie crust or make noodles. ravioli or pasta. One of the things I like most about this cutting board is that it's made from natural bamboo, which is not only eco-friendly and sustainably sourced but also easy to clean and maintain. The tight wood grain of the bamboo helps to prevent bacterial growth, and it's gentle on my knives, so they require less frequent sharpening. The juice groove at the edges of the cutting board (on one side of the reversible board) allows liquids from fruits, vegetables, or roasts being carved to remain on the board, protecting the counter or table beneath it. The built-in handles on the sides of the board make it easy to move around and handle, even when it's full of ingredients, and it allows it to be used as a serving tray for snacks and appetizers - it's ideal for taco night. Although it's a large sized board, because it's bamboo, it's lightweight and portable so I can take it anywhere I want to prepare or serve food.
