These cards are gorgeous! I mean, they’re expensive, so you’d hope so, but they really are beautiful. They are all thick, creamy based in colour and a linen finish with a satin shine. They are quite slippery so be careful dealing. The pip cards are as usual, but still with more a unusual take, but this deck shines in the imagery used for the courts, aces and jokers. Honestly some of them are creepy AF, and a bit steampunk, but I love them. Unique and different and I see something new everytime I look. The reverse is an intricate and interesting pattern/design also. Finally the box they come in is also beautiful. If you like playing cards, you may end up keeping these for solitaire or patience - I can’t imagine wanting to let anyone else get their grubby hands on them!

These cards arrived in a cellophane wrap to keep them protected. From the second you lay eyes on the box you know that these are a cut above a standard deck. The box looks great, with a dark blue, silver and red design. Couple this with the Jack London quote inside and the pre-fold at the back which widens the access, so that the cards are easy to extract from the box, and you instantly get the sense that this is one special deck. The cards inside have a Steampunk vibe to their design with stunning illustrations for the picture cards and on the reverse. They slide around as if they are oiled, so smooth is the movement. These are definitely a pack for professional players or magicians! Hence the price of £23, at time of ordering. It's a hefty amount for a pack of cards and for most of us, who play cards casually a few times a year, not worth the price. However for collectors or serious card sharps (whether that's poker or magic) these are utterly stunning and swfin6a pack you'll covet.

These are nice cards but compared to other packs I have been buying recently as got into rare playing cards they are not exceptional and definitely not worth £29 other cards at this price would have gold foil and better illustrations and more of them - they are nice too pricey for what they are - so disappointing!

I was on a noble quest: to find non-plastic cards that don’t slide around like runaway ice cubes. The matte design in the pictures gave me hope. A proper textured finish, I thought! Yes, they were a bit pricey, but I was ready to believe. Alas… betrayal. These turned out to be fully plastic, smooth as a dolphin in a wetsuit, and just as slippery. No texture, no grip, just a deck determined to escape the table at every opportunity. Stylish to look at, but a nightmare to actually play with.

This deck is just like a regular deck of cards can play as normal. Thick cards good quality I mainly got them because I really like the old style design on them feels a bit knites of the round table roman times in parts but also a bit sci-fi medieval very strange but appealing.
