Would I be able to spray my boat with this product and the total boat topside paint?

Should i use this thinner if i plan to spray using a hvlp sprayer?

In the shippers written recommendations they say to use another product. All i know is that this thinner works well to thin 'Lust' to solidly penetrate wood.

What’s the recommended amount of thinner per each gallon of paint for application?

Not sure how much area you’re covering but it really depends on the temp of where you are painting. I tried adding very little thinner to my paint and it ran all over the place. Sanded that down and used the paint with no thinner for the 2 nd coat and it does fine at around 60-65 degrees but if it gets in the 70s it will tack up quick. You just have to play with it to find the right combination for you. Hope this helps.

Easy to use and works. And stinks. It's thinner after all. Wear a protective canister mask that's rated for this purpose. I used it for thinning the stain and the first coats of Total Boat varnish, which specifically calls for this thinner.
