Why did you pick this product vs others?: Have never found a travel pillow that actually works until this. The eyemask is soft and comfortable and virtually blackout. The Velcro is strong and high quality yet easy to adjust. The fit is secure. Works great to allow you to actually rest on the plane on long-haul flights! I only wish it could fold down more compactly and have slightly more padding for behind the neck - even if that were to be inflatable padding to keep it compact. The brand my husband bought himself folds slightly smaller than this one. Neither of us used to get even a nap on a red-eye long haul flight. Now with this style of “pillow” for neck support, we actually both get a little sleep.

This product looks absolutely insane, but is seriously one of my best purchases. I was going on a trip to Turkiye and had a 12 hour flight… So I decided to buy this contraption. And yes it’s a contraption. I pulled it out to my seatmate surprise (I was in a middle seat) and strapped in… I could not stop laughing and taking pictures of myself (sear mates were not laughing but probably afraid of me). It takes a minute to figure out but clicks easily to the headrest and then you just wrap the eye mask around your head to lock your head into position. Despite looking insane, I did end up sleeping for about seven hours off and on with this (and the help of some products that Amazon does NOT sell). Overall I recommend it, it really helped me sleep and I am a neck pillow hater.

Took a lot of fiddling to make everything fit the first few times, which other passengers thankfully tolerated on my first flight at least. Once fitted however, this is great to keep my head bobbing around (and prevented neck pain). Feel well rested and good after sleeping using this product while travelling. I do find the fiddling aspect inconvenient, and think an alternative to the current strap design would be more user friendly for quick set up and use.

Got us these for our 10 hr trip to Italy. They worked great. I could feel my head leaning towards and the velcro is strong enough to hold your head upright. The velcro never came off. The mask is also very comfortable. One thing I learned is that you need to loosen the straps a lot to bring mask down for those people that are short. Also sometimes the eye mask could feel tight so I would just use it to hold my front head and use a regular eye mask. This was very comfortable.

It could not be properly fixed on the smartwings low-cost plane. It was practically unusable, unfortunately. It is possible that it might be good on a different plane and seat type.

Great for long trips. I've used these several times now going overseas. Game changer for sleeping on a plane. Pretty ease to setup on most of the airlines as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This worked great for me, as I am a serious head bobber on an airplane and this holds your head in place. I give it four stars because the preparation process to get it ready to use is involved. People stare as you are doing it, so you have to be prepared to ignore the stares and do your thing, knowing that the end result will be some quality sleep on an aircraft, which is hard to come by, especially in economy. I used it for a long flight over "the pond". Design: The design worked great for me.
