Working Great For Hue Bulbs in Track Light Fixture
These are an affordable and simple solution for getting standard bulbs to work with a GU10 fixture. I used them to mount my Phillips Hue bulbs to my kitchen track light, and they are working perfectly!

Don’t work and possibly hazardous
Multiple bulbs were tried from different manufacturers, including CREE, and none worked with these adapters in the tested lamps. All bulbs were tested on a different lamp and all were functional before and after testing with the GU10 adapters. The lamp that the adapters was used with was also tested with regular GU10 base bulbs and was working.Resistance measurement showed good continuity between the adapter pins and the E26 internal terminals, however, once installed, a voltage reading taken inside the socket showed 0V. The external pins seem to be slightly different than the pins on the various GU10 bulbs that I have, and it seems that they do not make adequate contact with the terminals in the lamp. Modification of the pins was attempted, and showed slight improvement, but not enough to allow for consistent functioning. Holding the adapter in place allowed for brief functioning, however, the position needed to be constantly and precisely manually maintained. In conclusion, these are not at all adequate and do not function under at least some reasonable circumstances, and may present a fire hazard due to inconsistent contact and high resistance between the pins and lamp terminals.A reasonable, if slightly more expensive solution for those needing to install e26 bulbs in a track light fixture, is to buy new track light heads with the appropriate base, and install them in the existing track. This solution is safer, more reliable, and consistently functional in all circumstances. Additionally this avoids the extra distance from the track to the tip of the bulb that comes with using adapters. Appropriate track light heads for all current and historically manufactured varieties of track are also available here on Amazon.

Thrilled to find these. They made replacing my bulbs so much more convenient and using LED they are no NEAR AS HOT as the original bulbs that fit the fixture. I was so pleased to see Amazon had these and for such a reasonable price. They fit right in the fixture and we screwed in the LED regular bulbs with no problem at all. Have been using these for over a month now and not one bit of trouble. I love them and recommend someone who has these types of fixtures and doesn't like the price of the bulbs or the heat they put out....BUY THESE ADAPTERS!! You will be thankful like we are.

Easy GU10-to-LED retrofit
I used this for an overhead 4" GU10 can/pot light over our front door. I could not find a LED GU10 retrofit since most retro-fits require a standard light bulb base. This allowed me to convert the existing GU10 base to use almost any LED Retro-fit kit, saving more than a few dollars since retro-fit kits with the GU10 base are not that common an fairly pricey. Space/size was not a problem.

I recommend
Gotta say, this was a good purchase. I was tired of all the heat generated by the halogen lights on our (4) light fixture. These burn ALOT cooler. Not only that, the LEDs I we use now light up the place a WHOLE LOT BETTER! I recommend
