This item seemed to be the solution to connect two strands of lighting that will be installed a length apart.The package that arrived looked like it was a return and was unfortunately missing the 4 shown male to male connectors (of which you will need at least one to make use of this product!)Also, focus on the first picture to see what you are supposed to get, not the description under 'special features', item 3 which states that the solution is solderless...you will need to find a way to connect the short strands with the actual female plug somehow to the cable...

Works, but a hair bulky on the head.
It's good, but I had to trim down the plastic sheathing in order to fit it on a motherboard header, it worked fine for gigabyte auruas, it dosn't invert the color or such inside the wire.

Used with Sylvania Lightify and worked great
Worked great but if you're going to be stripping/soldering of the wire, note that the wire colors are different than the Lightify color abbreviations on the connectors.

Good extension cord for rgbw
The cord is good quality. I ran it behind the awning arm on a camper to power an extra set of led lights and keep the same controller. The only drawback I found was the connector pin could possibly come loose with enough vibration, I used heat shrink around the connections to help with moisture and holding power. Works as expected

Simple & Easy to Use, Amazing Value.
If you use OSRAM Lightify, these extenders work, as of course they're extenders for RGBW, which are five pin connectors. It does the job, and lets you be a bit more creative with your LED strips.
