If you only buy one Lego set - BUY THIS ONE!
I was undecided about this set at first. I had terrible issues with the flimsy nature of the Saturn V set, and did not wish for any repeat of that. Saturn V now dismantled for spares! So, took a chance and ordered this. Likes : The impressive size and detail of this set, the ease which it went together, the sturdy nature of the launch pad and the rocket (Had to move assembly off the kitchen table (warmest room in the house) after each construction session. (20 hours over 8 days) The Artemis rocket is so sturdy you could probably swing it around like a baseball bat (if you wanted!) Despite frequent moves between rooms , nothing fell off the launch pad (I moved the rocket (with boosters still attached) separately) or the rocket/boosters assembly. When on the pad, the rocket sits on a hidden spigot and there is a clamp assembly that attaches to the rocket. Dislikes: ATTACHING THE DECALS! AAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!! This took the most time, patience, dexterity of the entire build. Lining up the various decals was a nightmare. One wonky decal can become an eye magnet to me - and ruin the whole build, so. no rush - get it right! Some of the markings were already printed on the parts - why not do them all, Lego? The boosters look very impressive, but as they are made up of parts pushed (kebab style) onto a long bendy rod, the finished boosters are a bit rubbery. Fortunately this is not noticeable when they are attached. There are thousands of useful bits in this set you can use in other situations if you build MOC's (another plus point) I have ordered the case from my Lego case supplier and this will stand alongside my Collectors Edition "Millennium Falcon." There were NO moments of sheer terror in the making of this set! This set is excellent value for money and well worth the time spent. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great set for Space fans - Impressive Results
The LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System Set once built is a beautiful model. Overall the build was fun, there was lots of detail in the set to think about along the way and there was a bit of a variation in build styles, between the launch pad, the launch tower and the rocket. Also, a nice touch was as you built the set there was facts in the instructions about the actual SLS along the way. For the mast couple of sets I have built I found using the lego builder app on my tablet a great way to view the instructions. This enables you to see 3D models of the build and instructions and is perfect for making sure you are putting it together correctly, any corrections/updates to the instructions are also there. A lot of the building time is spent building the launch assembly/tower. For me this did become a bit tedious, but is the nature of the type of model, and I did know this/could see this, before I bought the set. Post construction it was actually a vey solid build. I will say this is a huge Lego set, 0.6m tall, so before purchasing there was a bit of thought needed to where it was going to live. Overall I am very happy with the set. It is on the more expensive side, but I think worth the money of you are a space fan like me,

Makes a nice collectors piece
One of the most challenging LEGO sets, if not because of the repetitive nature but every level is slightly different. Makes a nice collectors piece for anyone interested in space.

Looks good but
This kit makes a nice model but lacks in the building process due to over half the build been very repetitive as you work your way up the tower, I found myself losing interest in the build after a short while and was glad when it was finished

Artemis by rote !
A good value buy. Not the most interesting of builds, slightly repetitive but, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Looks great once complete.

Seriously Amazing
10/10 Looks truly amazing ready goes to show the scale of the real SLS rocket at 1:10 scale is mind blowing. Took me 9 hours of build time with little complications is a little bit repetitive doing the tower section but god is it worth it
