Great device! I have 3 of them. Working very well with the X1202 PSU. Room for a hat or two too.

A professional, metal case ready or the Pi, UPS, NVMe adapter and fan - easy to assemble
I bought this Geekworm X1202 case with the matching X1202 UPS, H505 fan and X1001 NVMe adapter (for my 512GB SSD). You have to be careful when buying, as Geekworm offer various UPS solutions and they all have a specific case to fit into. No mix and matching allowed! The X1202-C1 case is all metal in two parts. It's all very professional and sturdy. You get more than enough screws and spacers for your Pi. There's also a cutout for a (max) 12mm momentary push switch to turn the Pi on/off, which I made use of. The X1202 UPS I bought allowed for four 18650 batteries (other options are available including the newer, fatter 21700 batteries, of which you only need two, but are more expensive and harder to find). They fit well under the Raspberry Pi. Getting the UPS to connect to the Pi is easy enough - it's done by spring-loaded pogo pins and as long as you align it all up before screwing it all together it should stay connected forever. The H505 fan was probably not needed as I already had the "official" Pi fan, but Geekworm say theirs is better and easily matches or exceeds the performance of the original fan. Their published graph seems to confirm this. My Pi runs warm so I'm hoping it does the job! It does come with five heatsink patches to ensure each part of the Pi's motherboard is covered and cooled. Finally, X1001 NVMe adapter (if you have one) fits on top and is connected to the Pi via short, flat ribbon cable. Easy to slide up the connector socket cover a couple of mm on both the Pi and adapter and to insert the ribbon cable before closing the adapter again. If you don't have an SSD, you really need one - performance is incredible with it. Assembly was straightforward, but the best advice is to go slow. A dropped board could easily rip off some components under the Pi, so a bench or table with a soft blanket would be ideal. You don't need any special tools; a small Philips screwdriver (PH1) is all you need. I've included some photos of the before and after, just to show you the result - it took me just over the hour to complete and I did not rush. For newbies, allow two hours and look at the excellent photos and instructions on the Geekworm web pages. Recommend to a friend: YES Buy again: YES

Ideale per chi, come me, vuole evitare soluzioni “artigianali”.
