I was at first using it just as a 2nd cleanser but the past couple weeks I began using it as an all-in-one cleanser and foaming cleansing mask. I don’t wear much makeup so I usually just need to do the oil cleanser to remove sunblock residues. I only need about 1/3-1/2 of a pump, about the size of a pea, on wet hands to massage over the whole face and upper neck. When used as a regular cleanser, it lathers really well, producing a fine foam to massage into the skin and gives a really nice, comfortable cleanse. My skin is now aging and can feel tight with overly stripping cleansers. This cleanser thoroughly cleans skin without overly stripping skin. I also have sensitive and reactive skin, it’s been that way most of my life, and I react to lots of actives in functional skincare products (I’ll never be able to use trentinoin, can’t use vitC as l-ascorbic acid, the most effective form of vitC, react poorly to bulachiol, certain lactic acid serums, etc.). This didn’t cause any irritation so far, not even painful tingling during use, even tho it has some form of ascorbic acid in the ingredients list. Some skincare products make my skin hurt but this hasn’t caused any surface pain/sensitivities or redness. The other way I like to use it is as a cleansing mask that I rub into my skin later to lather and wash off. I take a full pump, so about double the amount I use for regular cleaning, and quickly spread it thinly over my entire face, leaving a narrow border around my eyes and mouth, getting the tips and crevices of my nose and btwn my eyes. I do this over dry skin, with dry hands. It foams up on the skin, and I let it sit anywhere from 1-10 mins. I might do other things like brushing my teeth, getting ready for a shower, scrolling on my phone, etc. I usually do this before I hop in the shower so I might start getting my hair wet without getting water on my face. Then with wet hands, I start massaging the foam into my skin, into the hairline, behind ears and down the neck. Then rinse off either in the shower or at the sink. My skin feels extra smooth when I use it as a cleansing mask. I tried it tonight as a cleansing mask without oil cleansing off the light makeup I wore today, and it cleansed surprisingly well. I swiped a cotton pad with an aloe and rose water concoction over my face and the cotton pad was clean. I’m quite impressed that it does what it says and might effectively remove makeup without a double cleanse. I want to dock 1/2 a star for the pump foaming a bit even when it’s just standing around. It arrives with a bit of foam at the tip, but I thought it could have been jostled too much in the heat during transit, because I ordered it during the prime day sales in July. But it continues to leak a tiny bit and foam up. I might have received a slightly defective pump, but the product is really great, so I’m leaving a very high rating. Hopefully other bottles aren’t like mine, which is just minor annoying. The price is really great for the amount you get, and the foaming mask feature might seem gimmicky but it cleanses well either used like a regular cleanser or as a foaming cleansing mask-cleanser. I’d get this again and recommend it to ppl with all types of skin, even sensitive skin.

This has been working for my skin. I like that you feel your skin tingling to the pores after applying the product and letting it sit to foam up.

My go to morning face wash. I love the light smell. Thick texture with little water to use as a mask. Or add a little more for a foamy face wash. I pair with the whole line to get my morning started. Great value, it’s lasts me months.

Removes makeup very well (even tubing mascara). Fresh citrus scent. Plenty of suds and a little goes a long way. However, I’ve used this for a few months and the dispenser will not stop oozing. I have to set it on the edge of the counter so when it drips throughout the day, it lands on the bottle or in the sink. I thought maybe the top was screwed on too tightly and pressure was built up, so I loosened it slightly. Didn’t make a difference. Then I tried diluting it with purified water. Nope. I don’t know what to do. Put it in a jar? Remove the top and leave it open? Tape it closed? {{{sigh}}} Would’ve been a 5-star review if it didn’t ooze everywhere.

I love this cleanser, it has a refreshing, citrusy smell, foams up nicely, clean well without any residue. One small pea size drop is all you need.

Great product. As usual, with most K beauty products this one doesn’t disappoint. Leaves the skin feeling really cleansed without irritation or feeling too heavy.

Clean and bright. Followed the instructions which say to (1)rub on dry skin (2) let bubbles sit 1-2 mins (3) massage with a little water. I had tester packets before I decided to buy the full bottle. I like Joe clean my face feels and my skin looks a little brighter. Sorry for the crying in the background. Someone was mad their nap ended.
