I was at first using it just as a 2nd cleanser but the past couple weeks I began using it as an all-in-one cleanser and foaming cleansing mask. I don’t wear much makeup so I usually just need to do the oil cleanser to remove sunblock residues. I only need about 1/3-1/2 of a pump, about the size of a pea, on wet hands to massage over the whole face and upper neck. When used as a regular cleanser, it lathers really well, producing a fine foam to massage into the skin and gives a really nice, comfortable cleanse. My skin is now aging and can feel tight with overly stripping cleansers. This cleanser thoroughly cleans skin without overly stripping skin. I also have sensitive and reactive skin, it’s been that way most of my life, and I react to lots of actives in functional skincare products (I’ll never be able to use trentinoin, can’t use vitC as l-ascorbic acid, the most effective form of vitC, react poorly to bulachiol, certain lactic acid serums, etc.). This didn’t cause any irritation so far, not even painful tingling during use, even tho it has some form of ascorbic acid in the ingredients list. Some skincare products make my skin hurt but this hasn’t caused any surface pain/sensitivities or redness. The other way I like to use it is as a cleansing mask that I rub into my skin later to lather and wash off. I take a full pump, so about double the amount I use for regular cleaning, and quickly spread it thinly over my entire face, leaving a narrow border around my eyes and mouth, getting the tips and crevices of my nose and btwn my eyes. I do this over dry skin, with dry hands. It foams up on the skin, and I let it sit anywhere from 1-10 mins. I might do other things like brushing my teeth, getting ready for a shower, scrolling on my phone, etc. I usually do this before I hop in the shower so I might start getting my hair wet without getting water on my face. Then with wet hands, I start massaging the foam into my skin, into the hairline, behind ears and down the neck. Then rinse off either in the shower or at the sink. My skin feels extra smooth when I use it as a cleansing mask. I tried it tonight as a cleansing mask without oil cleansing off the light makeup I wore today, and it cleansed surprisingly well. I swiped a cotton pad with an aloe and rose water concoction over my face and the cotton pad was clean. I’m quite impressed that it does what it says and might effectively remove makeup without a double cleanse. I want to dock 1/2 a star for the pump foaming a bit even when it’s just standing around. It arrives with a bit of foam at the tip, but I thought it could have been jostled too much in the heat during transit, because I ordered it during the prime day sales in July. But it continues to leak a tiny bit and foam up. I might have received a slightly defective pump, but the product is really great, so I’m leaving a very high rating. Hopefully other bottles aren’t like mine, which is just minor annoying. The price is really great for the amount you get, and the foaming mask feature might seem gimmicky but it cleanses well either used like a regular cleanser or as a foaming cleansing mask-cleanser. I’d get this again and recommend it to ppl with all types of skin, even sensitive skin.

I love this cleanser, it has a refreshing, citrusy smell, foams up nicely, clean well without any residue. One small pea size drop is all you need.

Clean and bright. Followed the instructions which say to (1)rub on dry skin (2) let bubbles sit 1-2 mins (3) massage with a little water. I had tester packets before I decided to buy the full bottle. I like Joe clean my face feels and my skin looks a little brighter. Sorry for the crying in the background. Someone was mad their nap ended.

I like the content. The cleanser is moisturizing and smells good. It bubbles up quick. But the pump gets clogged after every use :( I will not order it again after I use it up

Love the smell, love the feel of my skin after use. Husband started using it and made a comment about how nice it was on his face. Will definitely reorder.

This has been working for my skin. I like that you feel your skin tingling to the pores after applying the product and letting it sit to foam up.

This makes your face feel so clean without drying it out. The smell is a light citrus. Only need to use a small amount for a good cleanse. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions to use.Looking to see what other products are in this line to try.

I purchase this one time and I don't have any complaints. I used it every day in the morning. I love the way it foams. Leaves my skin nice. Doesn't leave it dry. This is something I would consider repurchasing
