Adorable and functional. My daughter in law is a collector of robot things and loved getting these in her stocking for Christmas.

These munchtime chops are fun...to look at or play with. Let's start with the best part: the design is clever, funny and lightehearted. And they fit into sooo many themes and occasions. While they work OK functionally for eating, they aren't what I'd call kid-friendly or for picky eaters. Due to the surprisingly powerful reflex of the hinge, I don't see many kids having the hand eye control or know how to keep from accidentally injuring themselves with these robot appendages, or causing unnecessary messes. Maybe that's also part of the fun? How about they are way too long to begin with? You've got to have a decent sized hand to work the mechanism with any kind of ease or finesse. Seems an awkward length to have in mind for anyone that's not at least a young adult. I do very much like the Fred brand and it's offerings but this item would be that much better with some minor tweaks. Very fun and playful, but more of a novelty than an proper eating utensil.

Bought these for my 2 yr old! They are a little harder to use, but she loves trying!

Loved this chop stick set! Made it super fun and easy to eat with! The grip was easy to maneuver. Unfortunately only got to use it twice before the frog broke off and made it unusable. I would not consider it a value for your money, but as a lover of frogs it was worth it.. before I knew the quality of the plastic. Looking back I would not buy this again.

Honestly, it was most likely the kids fault. I didn't see what he was doing but it broke so quickly I was dissapointed.

I sometimes have a hard time getting my youngest excited to eat he is almost 2. Both my boys love using these and tend to eat more while playing. So cute and so fun.
