I have an egg slicer that the wire needs replacing. Will this wire work well to bend and form to the egg slicing? Thank you for your answer.

I don't know how resilient the 36 gauged 316L would be. Because it is so thin it breaks easily when pinched or bent multiple times. It also stretches easily. I use 20 pound test nylon fishing line (not monofilament) on my cheese cutter. Usually lasts a few months before I have to change it. I've never tried using the 36g 316L as a cutting wire. I don't know how well it would work.
