Wonderful monitor at a low price point!
I'm really pleased with this Samsung Monitor. I was in the market for a secondary monitor for my gaming set up, and on paper this ticked all my boxes. It's a convenient size at 24', has a high 180hz refresh rate, and a great colour output for an IPS monitor. Setting the monitor up was a breeze. There are instructions provided which are clear as day to follow. You connect the two parts of the stand together, attach that to the monitor, and you are basically done. The monitor comes with a power plug, 1xHDMI and 1รDP. Both video output cables work great, however are a little short (about 1m). The monitor also has really good versatility in adjustment. It has high, angle, tilt, and orientation adjustment. I use this monitor in a vertical orientation, and it's perfect!

Solid monitor, but some small minor annoyances.
Been using this for about 9 months now for gaming and overall I'm really happy with it. The screen quality is excellent and the 180Hz makes a noticeable difference, everything feels really smooth and responsive which is exactly what you want for gaming. Setup was pretty straightforward and the stand is great, loads of adjustability which I wasn't expecting at this price point. Getting it at the perfect angle and height was really easy. Two things that let it down slightly though. First there are no built in speakers which isn't a massive dealbreaker but worth knowing before you buy as you'll need to sort separate audio. Second and this one genuinely bothers me more than I expected, there's a blue light underneath the monitor that stays on constantly with no way to turn it off except for unplugging the monitor. If this is in a bedroom or a darker room it can get really distracting, especially when you're trying to wind down after a gaming session. Neither issue is enough to put me off recommending it because the screen itself is genuinely brilliant for the money. Just go in with eyes open on those two points.

Ok, but not too good monotor for either gaming, watching videos or working with text
UPDATED: Got a second (Philips) budget monitor, and decided to return this one. The good points: - Loved the packaging, and the physical appearance of the monitor, feels premium. - The viewing agle is better than on the Philips - Loved the menu of the monitor, really easy to adjust, unlike almost all of my (admitidly older and budget) monitors. - Very light, and the physical build quality seems good Neutral: - Changing the refresh frequency can only be done through the monitor menu, not the desktop The bad points: - You clearly can see the pixels on the monitor most of the time. Not sure why that is, but compared to my other old monitors and the new Philips one, here you can clearly see each pixel, even though it's the same resolution as the other ones. - The text is not great in a number of settings, with sometimes having a strange white 'backlight' effect arround it, which makes it hard to read, and in some cases when you scroll, there seems to be a sort of 'delay' to it, like it takes a fraction of a moment to catch up with itself. Noticeable unlike on my other monitors. - The videos (mostly tried on youtube) don't look that great to watch (compared to my older budget monitors) - Biggest issue for me, some games have a wied effect of turning darker anytime I move, and then becoming brighter once you stop moving, which is rather jarring. This only happens on 120 and 180 hz settings though. Interestingly enough, there is a similar effect on some, but not all colour preset settings with scrolling darkmode text, with the text turning visibly blue while scrolling, and then turning back to white once you stop scrolling. Somewhat a shame, as the overall impression is better on this monitor than the Philips, but the screen itself is not adequate enough.
