Schwalbe Land Cruiser 700 x 40c Hybrid Bike Tyres with Presta Tubes (Pair)

I always tend to use Schwalbe Tyres on my bikes as they seem to be the best balance between cost and quality. Schwalbe Tyres historically have sufficient grip and rider control for where these are primarily going to be used which is on road and cycle lanes in both wet and dry conditions. These Land Cruiser were easy to fit to the rims unlike some other similar priced tyres I have tried to use in the past which are too tight for the rims. As others have said the quality of the inner tubes is ok, but not great, however the difference for buying with or without the tube is so minimal it is worth just getting these as spares and they are good for this purpose. I haven't tried this particular model of tyre before from Schwalbe, (Land Cruiser), as I tend to use the "Marathon Plus" or "City Jet", but thought I would give these a go, so will post an update in a few months when they are fully tested

Bought to replace original Continental Super sports on my gravel bike which were about 4 years old. Really liked the Continentals but they are really more road / dry weather tyres - almost no tread at all -were starting to feel a bit sketchy on the off road and even on smooth, but damp tarmac. Wanted something with a bit more grip for the winter to reduce the chance of ending up in the canal. Out of the box, these look much chunkier and are noticeably heavier than the Continentals. Much easier to get them on than it was to get the Continentals off, innertubes seem decent quality also. Couple of rides completed so far, overall very happy with the choice. They seem to roll nicely on tarmac, not much slower than the almost treadless Continentals, but much grippier on the rougher stuff- no great shock. Bought these slightly wider, hoping for bit more comfort on gravel tracks and so far they seem to be doing a good job, much more confident in the front end going where I point it now. Strava timing on my regular weekend run - which is mostly gravel/rough track - suggest about 1-2 km/h faster over a 35km ride. This is far from a scientific analysis but I was surprised that my two most recent rides on my regular route were the fastest I have done. Early days so can't comment on durability but had the same brand on an old MTB years ago and they seemed to last a long time. Personally would think these would be a good commuter/mixed use tyre on UK roads

Bought these for a tyre repair. Excellent grip and comfort. Look good. Easy to install. Really great quality and puncture resistant thus far! Works as it should and cheaper than other brands

Great product!

Tyres are good, yet inner tubes are terrible. Pumped one up and it burst. Didn't even get to the right pressure. Avoid if you want inner tubes as well
