Batana oil Shampoo and Conditioner Bars For Thickening Hair

These bars lather really well and are better than any other shampoo bar I've tried. I have fine, straight, silver/ash colored hair that weighs down easily. The bars stayed solid and don't get mushy in the shower. They retain shape well. The conditioner is creamy but not waxy or greasy and glides through hair easily. They didn't weigh my fine hair down or make it greasy. It was feathery soft with body once it dried. Very shiny and seemed to enhance the silvery highlight. Will be buying again!

This shampoo saved my hair. I was loosing what seemed like hand fulls of hair everyday. Hair brush, shower, just running my hand through it. It was frustrating. I got this one and the green box, same maker, and it was a real change. I have been using these bar soaps for the last 6 months or so and I don't think I will get another bottle again. The breakage has slowed down so much my hair is starting to feel fuller and healthier than it has in years. Definitely worth the money. Shampoo lathers up easily and the conditioner leaves my hair and scalp feeling fresh and not oily. I do recommend getting the little shower soap bags to use with them. But seriously I love the bar shampoo and conditioner over the bottles. Great gift ideas for anyone especially if they color or have damaged or breaking, thinning hair.

I have been wanting to get away from bottled shampoo and conditioner because I don't like storing them and I can't help but feel like I am paying for the cost to ship...water. I've got water at home! lol. Anyway, I've been liking batana oil as well, so I made the jump and got this product. I love the shampoo and have been using it for over a month. It is noticeably used, maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the way used. Using the shampoo and then a bottled conditioner results in a nice, soft, not frizzy look for me. The conditioner bar is not my favorite. It takes a long time to get enough product to where I feel like my hair is coated. This sucks when I am in a rush, but I like the process when I have more time to slow down and enjoy it. I still def use a serum or leave in conditioner when I get out of the shower if I've used the conditioner bar though. I'd definitely use the shampoo bars again, and the conditioner because it comes with, but I would not buy this set solely for the conditioner. Great value.

Just used today - 1st impression Shampoo lathers up very well. Conditioner does not lather, hard to tell its even giing on. After a few strokes on the hair it did start to feel silkyish. I left it on when i washed my body. It rinsed out nicely with my hair feeling soft. Brushed out pretty good , let it dry naturally. It feels soft and is shiney. Doesnt really leave a fragrant scent after. Ive been using a bar shampoo for about 6 months. My hair was seriously shedding.. i bought a different brand previously. It was a rice water / ginger. It as well lathered up very well as did the conditioner. But it did not leave pmy hair soft after rinsing. So i would use a little leave in conditioner. It was nice after drying. So it lasted about 6 months , 2 bars shampoo -1 conditioner As this was my 2nd purchase. My hart has stopped shedding so much. Maybe this one is softer because its castor oil Oh and i do color my hair

Shampoo is great. Conditioner leaves my hair looking limp and as if I hadn’t washed it. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. Threw away the conditioner.

Update: I’m getting new growth, I’m happy about that. I forgot to mention, when you open the box, it smells wonderful, but once you use the soap, there is no scent at all. I’m disappointed in that, other wise, I think so far it’s doing a great job. I love this product. I have short hair, and I hardly have to rub the product in. I do 2 small circles and message it in, the lather is great. On the conditioner, I think a lot of people don’t understand that you won’t get a a leather like the soap so you just rub it on your hair and then massage it in, leave it on for 3 mins, then you rinse it out after three minutes, you can tell it’s working because your hair is softer, easy comb through and not heavy like store-bought products. It really leaves your hair, soft and tangled free and works great. I will definitely buy it again

My whole family just tried these ahead of a beach vacation because I realized we should probably test these out BEFORE we go, in case the conditioner is a disaster or something. The smell fades pretty quickly from the shampoo bars, but it’s a heavenly citrus scent that is still strong when you wash your hair. It has been phenomenal at moisturizing and detangling my kids hair, from very straight and very porous, to moderate porosity with 3A curls. What really surprised me is that despite it making their hair SO silky, they have more volume to their hair! These are shockingly high quality shampoo and conditioner for the price, even with them being way smaller than I expected. The fact that they’re so small though, makes them ideal for air travel, especially if you’re trying to pack “personal item only” on a budget airline, so you both save space and don’t have to pack liquids. The fact that they’ve been used so much over the last week on four different people, and have barely made a dent in the bars, means you’re definitely not going to have to worry about running out of shampoo or conditioner no matter how long your trip is! Also means that my balking at the tiny size is probably irrelevant because it looks like this is going to last much longer than I expected for their size. I’m so impressed with the performance of these, I will definitely be getting more when the ones I have are used up or too small to work with!

I really enjoy the shampoo. I don’t really like the conditioner. It takes a while for conditioner to coat my hair. (I have very long hair almost touching my bum.) I will continue to use the shampoo but I will be using a different conditioner bar unfortunately. I recommend using a shampoo and conditioner bar stand or shelf to keep them dry.

No suds and no squeak. I think it's a great conditioner but as far as a shampoo, im not at all impressed. Perhaps it does clean hair but my scalp does not feel clean using this bar.
