These things are great. I welded some trusses and used this to clean off the welding spatter and prep for paint. I also used it to smooth some rough plywood before paint. I wish I had bought one of these things a long time ago.

Works well. It is a little heavy for my use- I am using a 60 grit nylon bristle wheel at the lowest speed to prep log walls for re-staining, and holding it up to the walls is tiring. Overall I'm happy with the machine and with the outcome.

nice tool..didn't like it roll sander but everything else worked well..is heavy..strips paint fast

I'm very happy with this tool, It has good variable speed option, and seems to have adequate power.

I ordered this to stripe about 60 years of paint off a old pickup truck. I used a 40 grit wheel and it removed the paint in no time without heating up the metal. I ran it continuously for a few hours and the motor never got hot however the gear drive does heat up a little but not too hot to touch.

I am building a backyard pavilion from rough Douglas Fir lumber. I planed and sanded each piece and then used this tool with a 60 grit drum to bring out the grain texture. It has worked very well and the results are awesome, leaving the board textured with no hard edges ready for stain. I recommend this tool.

I purchased this tool based on reviews and the high power performance rating. I also bought several different attachments for various projects. During the first use, I experienced intermittent power loss that seemed to be related to the power cord position. Since I needed the device for a time sensitive project, I disassembled the tool on my workbench. I found the positive power wire was not properly inserted into the switch connection. I removed the tension on the wire and reconnected the wire in the switch. With the repair completed, the tool has operated flawlessly.

So far it’s working great! Strip my log home with it and it’s still running great . Plus, they supply a spare set of brushes for the grinder. The shaft that goes through the sanding drum is a little sloppy. They should’ve made a little tighter.
