what would u reccomend for starting off to transition cockatiels to pellets?

I use various foods, but generally, none of my flock of 21 various species have any problems with going for new foods. My budgies especially, love trying all kinds of stuff, and are generally quite voracious. This Harrison's Super Fine is a great pellet and well recommended, so it's a good start. I've been using this for years for my budgies, cockatiels, green cheek conure, and lovebird.

Question 2

Is this the adult lifetime super fine as shown?  The description and picture are different.  I only want the super fine

I ordered this because I wanted the Adult Lifetime Fine and received the Super Fine.  I do not know why.  My bird will eat it (I have a 16 year old cockatiel).  I know the formula is the same, the only difference is the size of the pellets.  Finding this product is very difficult, it seems only to be sold by the company or at veterinarian offices.

When switching to Harrisons, they recommend starting with the High Potency, though I never did that. In terms of what size, according to Harrison's, the Adult Lifetime Fine is suitable for lories, cockatiels, lovebirds, quakers, doves, pigeons and small to medium birds. The Adult Lifetime Superfine is for small birds, including canaries, finches, budgies (parakeets), parrotlets, cockatiels, and lovebirds. For reference, I have fed my cockatiel the fine and superfine, depending upon availability. He eats both, but makes more of a mess with the fine, since he has to break it up more. I'm not sure how large your ringneck is. If it's the size of a small parakeet, then you probably need the superfine. If it's closer to the size of the conure, then you can probably make do with the fine. I have to say that all of my birds haven been fed this as a main diet. They love it and have thrived on it.

I just received the adult lifetime fine pellets. is it necessary to first try the high potency version? this is for my lovebirds.

I  used to fine Super pellets for my parakeet And she likes it.  I have a bigger bird but she’s 30 years old and I give her the high potency  (I don’t give her  the superfine ) because the vet recommended that because of her age
