Are they flexible when completely frozen, such as wrapping around a knee?

They CAN wrap around right from the freezer but given a few minutes they can comfortably wrap around. There is natural stiffness to begin with but not impossible.

Can these be stored in the freezer?

Yes, they store nicely in the freezer

If left in the freezer, does it get hard, or will it always stay malleable?

In my freezer they stay malleable. They stay cold for about a 20 minute application. Then I re-freeze. I have about 6 gel packs I keep in rotation. A Nordic Ice pack (used to ship refrigerated drugs) is rock solid and stays hard about 5 hours. It fits in the larger sleeve and I used that at night. The sleeves are fantastic for strapping around the knee. Two strung together can strap around the torso (following breast surgery). This is a handy product.

Can this product be stored in linen closet when not needed over a long period of time?

That’s where I put one and the other in the freezer for immediate use. Works fine.

Ein absolutes Muß

Wir haben die Kühlpads nun 1 Jahr im Einsatz und sehr häufig verwendet. Tun absolut was sie sollen. Ich verwende sie nicht nur bei Prellungen, sonder auch bei Insektenstichen.Nach Gebrauch einfach wieder in den Kühlschrank, das 2er Pack ist praktisch, so kann immer wieder gewechselt werden.
