Ideal low cost low power kettle.
Bought for caravan use, Small size with a sensible capacity for two people. Not heavy and easy to store. Does heat to boiling but does take longer than a higher wattage kettle. Cable can be stored inside kettle when not in use. Lid is a suction push fit so use caution when pouring just incase.

Uses very little wattage and still boils well
We got this from the last power outage where a car with V2L would only power max 3kw. Most of the kettles go above that (our normal one does 2500W but will hit 3kw during the first part of the cycle and then stop heating when using V2L). I looked around and this one looks nice, feels light enough and boils in about 1 minute (maybe 2 big mugs?). There were stains in the bottom after the first time testing the boil, which I would say is normal. I washed it beforehand but still, it just looks like water stains from the heat. I don't mind. It's now in an emergency outage box with candles, but as it looks good and is light, we're considering bringing it with us to hotels. Not that we've experienced issues with hotel kettles, but you do at least know where yours has been, it looks good, doesn't weight much and as long as you remember to bring it home (!!) then it's a nice, safe feeling.

Brilliant little kettle.
There’s not a lot of choice for low wattage kettles and the ones available are not exactly a piece of art like regular kettles, but out of all the choice and spec I wanted, this one ticked the box. I think it’s the best looking one by far. Very cute and a modern design. It’s not a big brand but it looks the part. I like that it has colour choices that the others don’t. I feel the others are more a necessity for the travel market and haven’t given any thought to the design for people like myself that want one in their kitchen. I love that this one doesn’t have an element to clog up. It’s just a stainless steel tubular cavity which looks very easy to clean. I also like that it’s just a plug in, that I can choose to hide the cable if I want. Compared to others that may seem practical by taking the kettle off the base to fill it, or like one small one I’ve seen where the cable is attached to the kettle which makes no sense. My old kettle, a Buffolo of which very similar ones are now available, was a lift off one which always got stuck on the base so I didn’t want another plus it’s extra cleaning. And it leaked when pouring. We bought it for the caravan but when we got solar panels we decided to use it in the house to cut down on what we use. That’s why I’ve gone for another low voltage one. We probably only boil it once a day for drinks and I use it for boiling water in cooking when needed. Boiling a 3kW kettle for a couple of minutes is probably a similar cost to boiling a low wattage for 6 minutes but when you’re working with what solar you are downloading it can make a difference between buying from the grid or using your solar. I boiled the max of 800ml and it took 6:50.38 minutes, compared to my 900W 1ltr kettle which took 6:20.65 to boil 800ml. But I think I could have pulled it off at just under 6 mins as it seemed to boil fully for ages before it clicked off, which my other doesn’t. I was watching it for nearly 2 minutes thinking surely it’s going to turn off any second now, but it didn’t. I’ll have to test it without the lid. I chose the white one as our appliances are white and our kitchen dark but I really liked the look of the black one too. It’s a beautiful little kettle.
