It’s not a substitute for ramen noodles but it’s a delicious product on its own.
Ok so let’s get the comparisons out of the way. This is to ramen noodles as cauliflower rice is to rice. So if you are looking for something that “tastes just like noodles but without the calories” this product is not for you. I am familiar with Konjac noodles and when I saw the convenience of a ramen style cup I had to try it out. As far as Konjac it’s really good. No strong smell or taste. If you’re not familiar with Konjac noodles, the texture might get you. Konjac noodles don’t have much flavor and are a tad chewy. It takes some getting used to but it fills you up for a good while. I got the Tom Yum flavor and, although some reviews say it’s too spicy, it really was just spicy enough for me. It was tasty and hit the ramen broth spot I was missing without blowing up my macros. I can’t speak for authenticity as I have never had authentic Tom Yum. I added 3 oz of chicken breast pieces to make it more of a meal. At 30 calories in a cup it’s actually a good meal. Just make sure you compensate for the sodium. It’s pretty high. It is not a “healthy” meal but definitely a low calorie one.

Very good for so few calories.
Actually very flavorful and good for the number of calories. Noodles are very slightly rubbery but expected texture of the ingredients. Absolutely good trade off for the lesser calories. Super easy prep.

Spicy-hot low-carb noodle-soup.
Very spicy and flavorful. I wasn't sure I was going to like this, but I'm really glad I tried it. The noodles are a little rubbery and chewy, but the flavor was great. It's really good quick lunch option for people on a low-carb diet.

Meh at best.
First off konjac noodles are always between an angle hair noodle and a rubber band. I don't mind, I've been eating them for years. That being said, the Miso flavor is not at all Miso. Idk who thought that this is what Miso tastes like, but no. It tastes like generic "Asian gravy" (think LA Choy) and dark soy sauce had a baby. It's not Bad.. And for the calories and gluten free option, I can doctor it up... But the Miso flavor is meh at best.

Not what I was expecting! Did not like it!
I love Tom yum! The flavor was ok but what made this so bad was the texture of the noodles. I only tried 1 cup and couldn’t even finish half of it before throwing it out. I LOVE noodles and HATE wasting food. It hurt to throw it away. I really tried to keep eating but the texture was a bouncy, kind of crunchy/crispy texture that a noodle shouldn’t really have! Considering that I “cooked” it a minute longer than recommended, it wasn’t because it was undercooked. It was just the texture of the noodles! Sweet potato noodles (like in japchae) can have a bouncy texture but this was crunchy-ish that I just can’t describe any other way. I don’t know what to do with the rest or where to donate it.

Crack some eggs in it, perfect quick keto lunch.
Ordered these as a shelf-stable keto option for work. I actually love them. I wouldn't exactly say the Tom Yum tastes like Tom Yum to me, but it's really good as it's own thing. This is my first experience with shirataki and I think it's delicious. The texture is pretty enjoyable and the noodles themselves just taste like the broth theyre cooked in. I've heard that too much shirataki can cause stomach cramps because of the fiber so I've been trying not to eat them more than once every few days, but I definitely plan on making these a regular part of my diet plan! I only wish they weren't so expensive.

Sometimes get shriveled, inedible noodles
While the soup is tasty (I’ve tried the kimchi and miso as well, and like those too) and the packaging very convenient, I stopped buying from this brand because the konjac noodles can sometimes be all shriveled and basically inedible. Definitely not worth the price. Sadly, won’t be buying this item anymore.

The calories are mindblowingly-low
I'm glad to report that not only are they pretty good, the calorie count is way lower. Cup Noodles has almost 300 calories a cup, whereas the flavor with the least calories only has 30: 9-10 of these will equal the calories of one cup noodles cup! And that's not all, these are filling! I'm not a small person by any means and noodles usually have trouble filling me up. I do have some concerns that I want to address because it isn't perfect: The sodium is pretty high because it's a soup, so consider drinking less of the broth. The red curry flavor has the least amount of sodium (500-600mg) so try that one. I will warn you that it's 70 calories which is higher than the others, but still way less than Cup Noodles. It's also pretty spicy. Next, the nutrition. These aren't exactly healthy. There's little to no protein, vitamins or minerals. That said, nobody's stopping you from adding your own stuff to it! It's already filling as it is so it could definitely make for a great meal with extra protein/veggies added to it. The price. This is obvious and is a lot more pricey than Cup Noodles/alternatives. The noodle texture. It's basically firm jelly. If you're disgusted by anything remotely jelly, this isn't for you. It isn't mushy though since the noodles don't absorb the soup... it's hard to explain. You just have to try it I guess.
