Much better solution than trying to use pellets in a pizza oven. My oven is either propane or pellets can't use both at the same time and it's pointless to have a pizza oven if you won't get the smoke so I use propane and then wrap 2 of these in aluminum foil and put it towards the back. Works great.

You will need to split some down into smaller pieces to get the fire going, but it burns hot!
