Very high quality
It is replacing the part from a previous lamp. The original lamp piece was plastic so it broke. This one is heavy duty metal with a real vice grip.

Great replacement/upgrade for my broken clamp. Feels sturdy all the way through. Way better than the one that came with my lamp.

It's a Good Lamp Clamp
The seller was great - product got here as soon as I could wish and it was packaged adequately. The product itself, I had to ding a star because the 1/2 inch post hole was a little too tight (I think because of the powder coating or paint) and I had to force the lamp into it. The lamp post doesn't sit all the way into the hole, but it's enough to hold the lamp up securely so no big deal. The clamp is sturdy and heavy and well built. I like that it will work in various orientations. I would recommend.

seller fixed issue - Does not hold magnifying glass light well
Seller reached out and made it right, replaced faulty unit. Purchased this product because I trusted that I would hold my magnifying lamp without tipping over, like the description says. I walked into my room this morning after it being held up for about a week, and I noticed it was on the ground. My magnifying glass light wasn’t cheap and I’m really lucky it didn’t break. I’m not sure if this adhesive tape failed or what happened but I’m really disappointed. I definitely wouldn’t say this is a heavy duty or strong lamp clamp, just be mindful of that.

Required a Little Adjustment
The clamp works pretty well, but my lamp did not quite fit into the hole in the clamp. I had to drill the hole out just a little. Once I drilled the hole out making it larger, my lamp fits and the clamp works fine.

Good replacement clamp
I had picked up a very cheap gooseneck light and magnifying glass, and it's clamp plate broke on the underside. I got this as a replacement and it's been worlds better than the other, even when it worked. Very happy with the quality and design. It did cost about as much as the lamp but everything fit perfectly and works great.
