Franklin Rolodex Organizer - 128k

This is an extremely poorly designed Digital Organizer. The screen is difficult to read, adding addresses, etc. is very time consuming and frankly not worth the effort. We returned the unit for a refund.

I couldn't figure out how to operate the organizer. The instructions were very poor, and incomplete. They should have included specific tasks, and how to do them.

Very useful and compact. It took me a while to understand the functions and how to properly input new names & phone numbers. I use it at work for business names that I don't keep on a cell phone. Considering the low price, It's a pretty good device.

This product is OK for what it was designed for,although it didn't have the same screen storage capacity that my old organizer had and it takes some getting use to, with the touch screen feature.

I enjoyed my new Rolodex electronic organizer; Among its many features are its games built right in, and my favorite is the keyboard wiz, in which you exercise your brain by tapping the letters on the keyboard as they go by the screen!-JW

I wanted an inexpensive, small device that I could keep in my backpack with addresses and telephone numbers, and synchronize with a "master" that I'd keep on my PC. So I bought this. First, I learned that the advertised "PC Synchronization" capability requires you to shell out another $7.95 and wait another few weeks for delivery. Second, when I installed the PC Synchronization software on my PC, I learned that it lacks even a rudimentary import or export feature, so I'd have to retype all the 300+ addresses currently in my electronic addressbook. Finally, I learned that there's a limit of about 36 characters on the "address" and "notes" fields of the database, meaning I do not even have room to store enter my own, relatively simple address, let alone a multi-line business address or reasonable notes like the names of people's children or the date that I updated a record.I'm sure there are more gotchas I could learn if I spent more time working with it, but I don't have more time to waste on this useless piece of electronics.

Do not count on the battery that it comes with it will die very quickly get an energizer or a duracell watch battery instead. Lacks a backlight. only get as a cheap replacement for your palm or smartphone.

As far as handy and small, this product would be great; however, the screen is hard to read and the tabs at the bottom are almost too small to make out even with glasses. The address screen does not hold enough space I would like to put in all the information I originally purchased this product for; address, phone, cell, dob, etc. are what I had hoped to keep in the organizer. Color fonts might be helpful to see better, but space is an issue.
