Gorgeous. A real stunner…
This was the highlight of my daughter’s Christmas presents from Santa. She just turned 3 and is about 36.5 inches tall. She needs a stool to reach the top floor and we need to move the pool to the side. After much searching we gave her 3 Barbie Chelsea Club dolls to go with it - (Barbie’s little sister) they are a great size. One came with a pull out/ trundle bed for sleepovers and it fits perfectly either in the bedroom next to the larger bed, or in the office by the desk. All 3 can sit together on the large bed and “talk”. The accessories that come with this house are for up to a 12-inch (eg Barbie) doll. Chelsea Club dolls are 6-inches tall. The pictures don’t do it justice! It is thoughtfully designed—looks upscale, spacious. I looked at so many dollhouses and the accessories - even the furniture is cool. Nothing incongruous or frumpy about this pad! Pool is a nice proportionately appropriate size. Some reviews are now dated. The batteries came installed with a plastic cover so no leaking. There were no stickers to affix. No guess work with the colored vs non colored screw tops. Comments: Everything arrived intact. Product looks high quality and is sturdy. There was very minor damage to the front panel to the pool area - of all places. Then I ever so lightly over tightened —the front panel of the patio cracked ever so slightly. I will seek replacements. The assembly pictures/ instructions were at times frustrating but adequate. I actually used a magnifying glass a couple times. These could be improved but probably not w out adding either more stickers (up down front back) or elaborate messy drawings in the manual. PRO TIP ;) When assembling refer to a picture of the house, I used the one here on Amazon to determine orientation if panels. There were a couple points where it would have been nice for a second person to hold pieces in place while I screwed. You want to have a large high quality sturdy Philips head screwdriver to work fast. I have (1) screw at the front right of the house that spins and wont tighten. It’s at a key part of the frame so I want to address that, but it’s not an emergency. The floor to the office arrived a little warped. I tried to bend it flat but it is not flush with the surrounding paint/ baseboard. To start, I placed each piece in order. Allow enough space on a flat surface to assemble because it’s big! Just 2 number stickers were missing, this caused some delays. I think the patio lamp was (2) and the sticker was missing…took me a while to figure that out since there are ~80 pieces. Even with referring to an image I put on 2 parts in the wrong orientation, realized right away and fixed. My main frustrations were the elevator and the patio. You think you re in the homestretch well the patio is quite elaborate. Allow yourself enough time - it’s a lot of steps. For the furniture just look at a picture. I was annoyed piano doesnt snap to stand but it has its advantage as a portable keyboard. It plays 1 note sequence. The outdoor lights turns on but shuts off automatically. Toilet can make a flushing sound. There is s toilet lid but no seat. Our desk arrived with no drawers. My daughter thinks the house is perfect. Played with it all day. I can tell it is going to provide lots of entertainment. I was concerned buying such a grown up home for my toddler — but she thinks it’s beautiful and very “life-like” and “the girls” love it. I was a bit upset there is a moped parked along the side. But there is also a beautiful water fountain along the terrace side. My daughter also has a Kidcraft mini playground, sandbox cabana and corner kitchen so we are loyal to the brand. I jokingly say it always galls me to put their “logo” on the item I have been toiling over for hours. The swingset was actually really hard to put together with 2 of us… but they make attractive, high quality products for children. Buy it, you won’t regret it. What made me buy it too was all the ecstatic reviews by parents whose kids loved this house. It is suitable for a range of ages…Our (Fisher Price) Little People have moved out of their little house and are also hanging out in the new dollhouse. Given that my daughter loves this, excellent value for the money. I got it for less on Amazon and it sold out online ahead of Christmas.

Read your reviews! It will save you!
This dollhouse is beautiful. It is much bigger than the pictures lead it to be, thankfully. My daughter will be 5 in 3 weeks and she is pretty rough with her toys. This dollhouse seems to be pretty sturdy. Some of the floors/walls are only cardboard so I will have to update after awhile to see how it holds up. Some things you should know: 1- This house is very difficult to assemble- two people will be much better as I had to wake my husband up a few different times to help me hold certain pieces together while I screwed them in. 2- Get a drill, but keep your manual screwdriver- you will need both half and half. 3- the screws are color coordinated but that doesn’t mean the colors are not off in a few places. It also does not tell you which spot is which color. 5- Lay out all pieces with the number on the sticker up, it will save you time and a backache. 6- Follow the directions exactly, including all of the pictures, I had to screw and unscrew many times because I put something in the wrong spot or had a board facing the wrong way. 7- The pictures don’t show you what way the board (wall or floor) goes so you have to look up the picture on here to know. 8- Be careful because some of the walls don’t fit perfectly so they have a gap from wall to wall. Overall, I love this dollhouse and I know my daughter will too. I would do it all again because it really is worth it! Even though it took a solid 6 hours to put together.

Best Christmas Present ever!
This dollhouse was a hit for Christmas for both my 3 year old daughter and 18 month old son. This dollhouse is very large, so read the measurements! The size is one of the reasons we went with this house. Both kids can play with it without being in each other's way. This doll house is extremely sturdy. I have caught both of my kids climbing on it and there has been no sign of damage. Not that I condone climbing on this, but it's not the plastic Barbie's dream house that might just collapse. It does come with the hardware to anchor it to the wall. One disappointment though, is the placement of the pool area. My daughter has to stand on the "patio" to be able to reach into the top bedroom. It's not a huge deal as it seems pretty sturdy, but I do wish the patio area was a bit shorter in length so that it didn't take up 75% of the front of the house. You can move it though. It does not attach to the main dollhouse. But it's still a huge. In my picture, you can see it off to the side. A few helpful tips for assembly: -Have some LR44 batteries on hand along with a tiny size screwdriver. Both the toilet and piano came with dead batteries. I think each item takes 3, so you would need 9 total for all of the items (there's also a light that lights up). I could be mistaken though and it could just be 2 but I'm fairly sure it's 3. -Spend the time organizing your parts before starting to put it together. Unwrap ALL of the furniture. There are pieces you need to assemble with hidden in other pieces! Also, be careful while unwrapping. There is one small, silver plastic piece that could easily be lost and then make it impossible to attach the stairs for the deck. Arrange the house pieces in numerical order. It will save you some sanity. If you take about 20 minutes to prepare to assemble, you'll be better off. -Have some vaseline and q-tips handy. Use it to grease up the inside of the track for the elevator. It will make a world of difference! -Use a drill or electric screwdriver. Go buy a cheap one if you don't have one. You really don't want to put this together without one. Electric screwdrivers are pretty cheap and worth it in this instance! -Look at the screws prior to assembly to get an idea of what you have. The instructions will just say to use screw "A" but it won't mention that screw A comes in pink, tan, grey, and green. As well as every single other screw. We have a few that aren't where they are supposed to be but not many. If you just notice that different sections of screws are still all the same, you won't make the same mistake....hopefully. It's not the end of the world if you do. I know there were a few times that the instructions weren't very clear. Don't be in a rush. Take your time and look at the pieces it's referring too. If it seems confusing, just think about the room it's trying to make and match things up. We put this together on Christmas eve and it took about 3.5 hours. We had nowhere to store it before so we had to assemble in one night.

Great purchase
Awesome purchase! We have had it about 2 weeks and my child has played with it every single day, so I would say the money is well worth it. Big enough for barbies, but my little one is more into the smaller toys (LOL sized figures) she can fit a lot of her figures in each room. The only real complaint I have is the elevator. It gets stuck at the bottom of the rail that attaches the elevator to the house. An adult has to move the elevator to get it to the very bottom and then again to move it back up past the part on the rail that hangs. Even after you get it past that part it is still very difficult for a smaller child (age: 5) to move. The elevator is my child’s favorite part so it’s disappointing for her that she can’t do that herself. Even with the elevator issue it is still a very enjoyable toy and I have no regrets in getting it for her. The furniture that is included is a great size and sturdy. The size is more consistent for Barbie sized dolls but works for the smaller dolls as well. Assembly took about 2 1/2 hours with 2 people. Much easier if you have 2 people. The directions are not extremely clear. We had to get online and look at an assembled house to figure some things out. The instructions do not tell you which side (of the wall) should face which way. It made the first few steps confusing, but the online image helped to clear that up. Another thing to watch for is the hardware. I’ll try to explain... All pieces are coded by a letter or number. The hardware is coded by letters, so the instructions say use hardware “X”for (wall) 36. But the hardware “X” (even though the hardware is all the same size and shape) actually has different colors on the head to match the outside of the house (some heads are pink, some purple, some yellow, some silver, etc) All of the hardware “X” are coded as “X” in the instructions, even though the heads are different colors. It’s up to you to match pink head to where the house is pink, purple head to purple spots on the house, and so forth. I hope that isn’t too confusing to read. It’s easy to figure out just keep in mind some of the heads are different colors when you first start. So you don’t have to redo it later on. Our box was well packaged. There was damage to a corner of the box, but the pieces were all in perfect condition. No scratches or breaks in any piece.

I love it and was so excited to give it to ...
I got this for my 4 year old for Christmas. She LOVES it! I love it and was so excited to give it to her. We got it for a great price after Thanksgiving. I love this one because it is plenty big for her and a friend or 2 to play with. It fits Barbies and other dolls that size. My son plays with his dinosaurs and other toys in here also. All the furniture and accessories are really fun. They are mostly wooden. We have the pool off to the side, not attached. I think it would be harder to play with that side of the house with the pool in front, but haven't tried. The pool is plastic, but the grassy-designed board around it is cardboard, so it cannot get wet. I'm sure one day my kids will put water in there, but I'm really hoping they don't. This wasn't hard to put together. I did it by myself, and the instructions were clear. Everything was nicely labeled. It took quite a few hours, but that was expected. The box it comes in is heavy and big. Warning: This thing is ginormous!! Make sure you know what you are getting when you buy it. It is the reason I loved it and chose this, but you may be surprised. My most impressive part: One piece was missing, but Kidkcraft was awesome about a speedy replacement. I was missing the little part that holds the top of the stairs and balcony together. It was fine without that part and I could attach the stairs and finish building the house. It would be simple to add that piece later. It was really easy to go on Kidkraft's website and order the missing part. I had emailed them 2 days before Christmas, and expected to wait at least a week to get the part, which I was ok with. But the next day, on Christmas Eve, we got a surprise package at the door and it was the missing piece. Kidkraft had overnighted the part to us!! I was extremely impressed, and was very grateful. I dont like reviews where the person has only had the product for a very short time, so I'll try to remember to update this later. I'm really hopeful that this will last a long time. The only problem we have had so far is that among all the Christmas clutter I was leaning against this to reach something else, and that popped out the floor of the balcony. It should be easy to pop back in, I just haven't tried yet. It happened because an adult was leaning against it and the floor wasn't made for that, but I was still surprised it happened. Overall, we totally love this!!

Perfect for Barbie sized dolls!
This doll house is perfect for Barbie sized dolls. It's a little hard to build on your own, but turned out beautifully. My 7 year old daughter loves it.

Worth every penny
This dollhouse is fantastic! My 7 year old is beyond happy with it. She’s a little scaredy-cat so a lot of the time she doesn’t like to be in her room by herself but ever since she got this dollhouse, she’ll spend half the day in her room. She said she was “cuted out” because of all the accessories 😂. I’m not going to lie and act like I know how long it actually took me to put it together but it definitely took me awhile (which I expected). I didn’t mind because we were just in the house on a rainy day. Getting the pieces out of the box and accounting for everything before starting to build was a task on its own, but in order to get the kinds of deals that we’re able to get these days, this is what we have to deal with and I’m ok with it. I agree that the elevator is a nightmare however, I had an idea while I was putting it together, and I used some lubricant that came with my treadmill and it definitely helped! (The video attached is after applying the lubricant.) I would buy this again and again, and I wish I had a dollhouse like this when I was a little girl. $138 after tax for this is not bad at all! Make sure you do your measurements in the area you plan on putting it in because like some of the other reviews tell you this thing is huge.

Fantastic dolls house!
I am absolutely delighted with this purchase! My daughter had asked for a barbie dreamhouse for Christmas but looking at it, I didnt think it was worth the expensive cost. Plus the barbie dreamhouse is made of plastic and not sure it would be built to last. I started looking for an alternative and having bought a kidkraft kitchen in the past, I already knew their wooden toys are well built and durable, and usually look good too! I quickly found this one and it ticked all the boxes! Similar features to the barbie dreamhouse.....but it's bigger (it is huge!!!) and I know it will stand the test of time! Plus it was £100 cheaper than the real thing! It does take about 3.5 - 4 hours to build so make sure you factor that in for christmas, but it is totally worth the effort. Some reviews have mentioned scratches. Mine did have a couple of scratches here and there but thats to be expected with these types of wooden toys. They're hardly noticable and it won't spoil my daughter's enjoyment. I cannot wait to see her face on Christmas morning! This is probably one of the best things ive ever bought for her. It's huge and it looks amazing and it is such good value for money!
