Ice cream is my favorite food. I cut sugar 3.5 years ago so I needed a more cost effective way to make delicious sugar-free ice cream. This ice cream maker works perfectly! It is so easy to use and clean up. Plus it makes the most amazing ice cream.

This machine produces an excellent ice cream. It is fast (30 to 40 mins), quiet, and doesn't need salt and ice. I used the book, The Perfect Scoop making the first batch of Butter Pecan. The ice cream turned out creamy and smooth and gelato-like. A couple of recommendations to guarantee a quality experience: 1. Do not churn too long. The default is 60 mins, but usually your ice cream is ready in about half that time. 2. Allow the machine to sit a few minutes completely off (without cooling on, so unplug if necessary) before attempting to remove the pale. 3. You might consider using a liquid weld (JB weld) on your screw to keep in secure. The Airmsen makes enough ice cream quickly so that you could make several batches in a couple/few hours. One last point, the Airmsen churns slowly so that less air is incorporated into your cream and this keeps the iced cream smoother, creamier with less crystallization.

Wonderful machine to make quality Ice Cream, without the mess of ice and salt for the freezing process. Machine is efficient, making about 4 pints of goodness in as little as 25 mins. This really lets you be creative to make any sort of desert you can think of. My only complaint (and it really isn't a complaint, but an observation) is the port for adding ingredients is sort of small, and makes it hard to add certain things to your recipe. Yes, you "can" remove the cover and add your favorite items that way, but I don't like the added stress it would put on the mixing paddles (which are high-strength plastic, but plastic nonetheless) while mixing your creation and adding those items. And stopping or pausing the mixing to remove the cover and add items will actually freeze the mixer into place and cause issues with restarting the mix operation (just ask me how I know......fortunately I didn't break the unit.....<whew>). A very nice addition to your family sweet tooth desires.

Works great, instructions were easy to follow. The 2 recipes I made were chocolate, and buttermilk both wetre easy and good tasting,

We love this machine! It was a Christmas present and it has far exceeded our expectation. Ice cream in an hour and without all the unhealthy ingredients. What can be better than that? One cycle provides the two of us with ice cream for a week. That is a dish of it each night. Even can make some for our four-legged babies too! Full disclosure, our machine had an issue and we worked with Airmsen customer service and they were wonderful in getting the issue resolved and promptly. The only disadvantage with this machine would be trying to scrape the ice cream off the blade. It can be a little tricky because of the shape of it but by no means is it a deal breaker. Ok, maybe one other negative...our local ice cream spots don't get our business anymore. We enjoy our ice cream treat time at home. Our pups do too! Seriously, invest in one of these machines. Money well spent!

The machine first of all is aesthetically pleasing and is a lot quieter than I expected works well as advertised and is easy to use. Ice cream is great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this one as it was supposed to be more durable faster and make more at one time as I have problems swallowing, so ice cream and frozen sorbet make my life easier. At the same time I purchased a smaller cheaper one for my sister imagine getting the call from your older sister going "this is great sorbet" as I'm looking at a 2nd bad trial batch of warm cream & expensive fruit.

This makes great soft ice cream in an hour, once you compile your recipe. You can add what ever you like. Many recipes available, or make your own. This was a gift, and it keeps on giving. Easy to clean up a couple of pieces, where the ingredients go. So far it's maintenance free. It makes about a half gallon each time(just about doubles the volume of what you put into it, so watch out for how much you put in). The whole family loves this machine.
