Awesome field gmt!
Ordered this as a gift to myself and for upcoming travel. I've been sitting on the fence for this watch for a while but finally pulled the trigger, after being forced to sell some other beloved items while moving. After getting it, I've realized what a great watch it is and how it ticks so many boxes for what I've been looking for in a new daily watch. First it's a great size at 39mm, and while slightly thick at 13mm+, I actually like it, since I've also got several slim quartz watches that sometimes feel too thin for me. I've also had an itch for the Rolex explorers for some time, but when I purchased an op with arabics one time, I realized I was scared to wear it (904l is soft, worried about theft or loss) and the lume was surprisingly meh (was older model). This is bulletproof, reliable (-8 sec/day), has great lume and relatively inexpensive. Also this watch represents an awesome combo of the 2 kinds of explorer's (1 and 2) in that it has a field watch case and arabics but with the gmt and orangy extra hands and text (srpe and ssk kind of flip what you see in the 2 explorers). I realize as a daily I prefer the slimmer, longer field watch case vs the flat, wider, almost bezeless diver case you see in the explorer 2 or pro. And I love the raised arabics vs lume circle plots. And while it scratches that itch, I love that it's not an homage or copy. It's the Seiko field watch with the added gmt. Also the case construction, domed crystal, color matched date wheel is surprisingly upscale, with this Seiko actually being "made in Japan", which I've not had previously. I also like that the gmt movement, while not a travellers gmt, still has the gmt hand clicking between hours vs the Ronda quartz caller gmt which is a free moving hand; how many times have I accidentally moved that gmt hand trying to set the date? The 4r34 at least let's you know you're turning the wrong way before you mess that up. Also you don't have to guess where to put the gmt hand. And the drilled lugs are awesome, as I immediately put the watch on straps and aftermarket oyster bracelet (my preference), though the stock bracelet is good too. Well pleased to finally have it!

Great GMT watch
Awesome watch, excellent money value. The looks of this watch are amazing a little subdued but still impressive. The jubilee bracelet gives that exclusive look and feel very good in the wrist. The dial is not really black but a carbon grey I would say what it is even more attractive, the GMT function and the 24 hours marker in the fix bezel increase that appeal. It is small in size compared with the same Seiko 5 diver GMTs, but to me adds a touch of elegance. A perfect daily watch that can goes from office to party seamless.

Becoming my Favorite
My 5th Watch, and my Seiko which is becoming my favorite. Being half Blind (not really). The Red GMT hand is really easy to read against the Black background, with White Hands. Luv the Numeral Dial. Makes it Easy to read during low light conditions.Specification states a 41 hour Power Reserve... I'm lucky to get 24 hours if I'm not wearing it. The Lumi Brite Hands isn't very bright, and doesn't last as long as my other Seiko Watch.

Mediocre at best, not worth the money at all.
The bezel, dial, and crystal are nice, but the brushing on the case looked horrendous, and the bracelet is absolute trash.

Great gmt
Love the aesthetic of this field watch. Put it on a 20mm parachute strap and it’s comfortable and reliable.

Their dive watches are a better value.
I like the brand but this one did not measure up.
