Great product, works as claimed

This is my favourite mouthwash. Very gentle. Ingenius bottle design. It is expensive, but worth it. You don't need to use a full measure.

Be careful if you are buying this for a specific dental routine. This listing used to be for the US-imported ACT Anticavity 0.05% Sodium Fluoride (once-daily rinse). The seller has quietly changed the product page, images, and active stock to the much weaker ACT Restoring 0.02% formula (twice-daily rinse). Because they reused the old listing, my automatic repeat orders and past order history images were changed retroactively. You are getting less than half the active ingredient strength of the original product. Look elsewhere if you need the true 0.05% version.

I buy ACT mouthwash (0.05% sodium fluoride) as part of the Dr Ellie Phillips complete mouthcare system. As a product I am not fond of it. It is meant as a mouthwash to rinse away the alcohol from the previous mouthwash, but it is way too sweet. The aftertaste I find horrible. Of course, everyone has his preference. With respect to the composition, I would say it does not contain glycerin, which prevents remineralization. That is a plus. Also,, here in Finland I have not been able to find a mouthwash without glycerin that could fill this role. Finally, it contains sodium fluoride and not the cheaper version available in the US. I suspect that in Europe sodium fluoride is the only one we sell. As there is no replacement of equivalent products here in Finland (they all have glycerin), I have to endure the packaging cost from the UK to Finland. If anyone knows of an equivalent product available in Europe or even Finland, I would really like to know. EDIT: I forgot to mention the price that is very high. In the German site of amazon it is even more expensive up to 44 euros per bottle. The cheapest I found in Germany was 31 euros/bottle. Still, at around 20 Brittish Pounds, very high.

Good quality. Taste nice. I use it once a day before going to bed. I used this as oral health routine recommended by Dr. Ellie. I feel it is helping improve my oral health using it for 2 months Now. No complaint easy to use squeeze bottle. I just hope it is priced cheaper as it is quite expensive.

I’m using this as step 4 of Dr Ellie Phillips’ Complete Mouth Care System, which is used twice a day. The dentist who put this together doesn’t get a penny from your purchase, or from the manufacturer for her endorsement. I have been using this product in tandem with the other 3, namely step 1 Ultradex original, Step 2.Crest anti-cavity original toothpaste, Step 3. Listerine original, or Cool Mint, followed by Step 4. ACT 0.05% Fluoride rinse for about 6 weeks now. Yes it works. Teeth are super smooth and whiter. In addition, you must use Xylitol often for short periods during the day. It all makes sense and you see the difference in the look and feel of your teeth within a short space of time. ACT is a tad expensive due to being a non UK product, but the other products are not. As Dr Ellie says “ Kiss your Dentist goodbye.”

This ACT Restoring mouth rinse tastes minty pleasant, not too strong or weak, nor too sweet or bitter. I use it as directions indicate. Once a day, rinse for a minute, then spit out and no eating or drinking for 30 minutes. At this time I cannot say whether or not it helps restore wear on my teeth because I have used it only a few days. Neither can I say whether the fluoride in the rinse discolours my teeth. I may follow up with a review after I have used it for a longer period of time. It is more expensive than other rinses I have used, however, the amount needed each day is small and it should last a reasonable length of time. If it helps mineralize my teeth in a month or so, then it is worth the cost. Greatly appreciate it arrived intact, wrapped well to prevent leakage.
