Fantastic remake
Having been a fan of the original for many years I was very excited to see this new updated version. The developers did a wonderful job bringing DQ3 to a modern audience. The quality of life improvements really shine and I've thoroughly enjoyed my play through so far. The game feels a lot smoother with less grinding in my experience, the added dialogue and explanations will really help new players through their journey. The option to speed up traversal and battles is fantastic in my opinion, more time to enjoy the story. It would be remiss of me not to mention the fabulous score, as with all dragon quest games the music is iconic and this game is no exception. It's a much more nostalgic game than some of the later releases like dq8 or 11, but it retains all the original dragon quest charm.

Free Switch 2 update
This game runs like butter on Switch 2. There’s a 8.2 gig download that runs when you put the cartridge in (no eshop required). Once that’s done, start the game and you’ll see in the settings you have a graphics or performance mode option. Performance gives you 60fps. Also if you want to use on switch 1 it works great too you just don’t get the performance option. Well worth the sale price of £36

Fun game
Such a great game, I much prefer the old style versions! You can spend ages just exploring and building up your levels or you can follow the game strategy, up to you!
