Disclosure: I purchased this for crafting, as a glue-on trim for mixed media rather than chain pulls so I cannot attest to the strength. I can however attest that it is tiny, sturdy & flexible. Not to mention it comes on a large roll. Definately will buy again.

The size of the balls is no more than 1mm for the 1.5mm not sure if this scales up with bigger sizes or is the only inaccurate size. No size is listed on packaging so possibly a warehouse issue as well. Other than that its reasonably strong and will be attracted by a magnet which is what i hoped for.

Bought this to replace the original chain for my dog tag after the links worn out over the last 10 years. Basically the same size diameter as my old ones and the product listed it as stainless steel. Well, judging by the state of the chain in the photo after having worn my tags for only two weeks it's safe to say that the chain is absolutely not stainless steel as they've tarnished from me wearing them in the shower. Which, by the way, I've worn my dog tags daily in the shower for a decade and there's not a spot of anything on them. I would suggest if you're looking to buy this product, simply don't. Go to a jewelry store or something and buy what you need, as I imagine all the other products listed here that are similar "stainless steel" won't actually be.
