Great bulbs & so easy to install - so I bought more.
These are great bulbs with the ability to tune the white from warm to cool, with colours and a few effects too.Plus they aren't too long, they don't protrude below my shades.I installed the SmartHome app on my mobile first, then made sure I was connected to the 2.4GHz wifi on my phone before I installed the bulbs. Turned the bulbs on at the switch & made sure they were flashing and within seconds they were found & registered. Then returned phone to 5GHz and checked - and yes they work just great, fine in Alexa by voice too once the skill is enabled. They work so well in fact I just ordered more. Now let's hope they last.

Great bulb at a great price.
Great bulb at a great price works perfect with the app and my echo. It took me 3 attempts to pair with my router, basically switch it off and on 4 times then when it flashes try to connect. Once connected works perfect.I deliberated for months if I would use the functionality however being able to turn the light off and on, change the colour and brightness using voice commands has proved more useful and satisfying than I originally thought.Would highly recommend this could be the start of my home automation journey.

Nice bulb Nice Price worth a try
Good Price so bought them, they are not very bright but nice to have all the colours. Good Enough for a hallway. They were well packed with good instructions. Installation a piece of cake. I had no problems connecting to my mesh network Tenda MW6.The bulb is plastic like, only time will tell. I will update if it breaks fast.

This one is IFTTT comptaible , but quality is poor.
I had tried two types of smart bulb from Amazon before this one, which were advertised as having IFTTT support but didn't:HOVVIDA - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B088M84LTDTECKIN - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07Q2C62DThis one finally does! Colour can be controlled, as was my aim (to indicate Octopus Agile rates). There is a sting in the tail, however. The quality of this bulb is otherwise inferior to the other two. Firstly, something is rattling inside (which is not reassuring for a mains voltage device!) Secondly, the white light has a poor tone and is comparatively dim - I wouldn't use it for reading. So, yet another return!

Works very well!
I installed the bulb in my desktop lamp and it works really really well. It's actually much brighter than the bulb I had previously and doesn't overheat at all, even when left on for a long time. The app that controls the bulb was a bit difficult to set up, I had a few connection issues, but now it's set up it seems to work fine. You can change the colour to any colour using the colour wheel and can change the brightness and saturation. It has a few modes as well such as colour switching and slow changing into different colours. You can also set up programs so for example you can have it turn on and switch to colour mode with just one button press. Overall works really well, slight installation problems, but would recommend!

Connectivity is rubbish
Product doesn’t work with BT home hub, tried everything to get it to connect. Light is good but doesn’t do what I want it to do. Waste of money if you can’t get it to connect.

No “watts” expected
This product deserves 5 stars from the clear, easy install to the simplicity of operation. What lets it down is the brightness.Pretty much all lightbulb venders these days state the lumens (brightness) of their bulbs as wattage is only about power consumption and so there is no direct comparison to how we use to rate the “brightness” of candescent bulbs. But typically a 7w LED usually yields the same light (or slightly more) as a very bright 40 watt candescent bulb around 522 lumens.I don’t have a light meter but this LED appears to be somewhere less than 400 lumens for white, and about 200 or less lumens for colour. This is based on the bulb it was replaced by being rated at only 6w (with a stated rating of 450 lumens) being several orders of magnitude brighter than this Smart Bulb. When in colour mode it is able to turn the lamp shade (uplighter) the requisite colour but little to no coloured light is given off onto the walls or ceiling (of which it’s only 60cms from.Shame.

Have to be connected 1 bulb at a time but worth it
I set up the first one in the living room ok but the bedroom and kitchen wouldn't connect then it went and said none of the bulbs was connected. I started again this time one bulb at a time this time renaming each bulb Living, Bed and Kitchen. It would have been so much easier if I could have just put all 3 in and searched for them, being a small place if they get turned off the router finds them in seconds, now to try and get them to work on the echo and dot that will be fun. After hours of fiddling around, I now have a fully working set of smart bulbs on the phone, echo and dot. Overall it only took me around 6 hours. and missing the football. Around £50 if I wanted to do the full home but stopped one bulb short.I was thinking of sending them back but didn't they were well worth the fiddling around with to get them working on the phone and hub and a hell of a lot cheaper than the Philips hue option.UPDATEI got the full set now, 4 bulbs, ordered another for the hall, opened it and the cover was detached but it just pushed back on 5 minutes and a search for devices on the phone and it was up and running. If I am 20 feet away from my Amazon device and I raise my voice to turn on a light it is hit or miss as to what will happen so far I have had a device not recognised, my music played, Spotify, and the light in another room turned on, so unless you're lucky you have to be within eight or nine feet of the Amazon device to get a reliable action from the light. These are good but not like Sci-Fi good where they work just from the voice saying "Lights" where ever you are in the room!
