It's very little smell. I can see the difference in the hair texture. It's too early to to tell about the growth.

I recently tried a rosemary serum, and I really liked it! The scent is nice and refreshing. After a few weeks of use, my hair feels healthier and shinier. I’ve noticed some new growth, which is awesome. The serum absorbs quickly and isn’t greasy at all. Picked this up, because it had so many healthy sounding ingredients and because it doesn't use a number of the unhealthy stuff that can be found in these types of products. Have been experimenting and trying new shampoos to find something suitable. The smell reminds me of some of the products I've had professional stylists use in my hair and wondered what they were using. Upon rinsing it into the hair, it immediately smells very minty & fresh. The minty smell does seem to dissipate quickly upon rinsing. It seems to be replaced by another smell afterwards that I can't quite put my thumb on, other than to say it reminds me of products my stylist has used in my hair in the past. This second smell I would say is hard to describe, but fairly neutral and for myself, smells like getting a fresh shampoo at the salon. I didn't feel the typical chemical residue you get with generic shampoo brands. My hair felt clean and residue free. After drying and more so in the morning after, my hair felt fresh and soft + obviously clean. Overall, I would say my hair feels pretty good using this product, and it feels healthy. I am not equipped to judge the contents, but assume the contents are what they say they are. However, if I am being honest, I tend to favor spending quite a bit less on my shampoos. Would I use this product again? Sure I would. My experience thus far was positive, and I'd be curious to see what a longer stretch of use might yield as far as results. But at this price point, for the quantity, I am unfortunately unlikely to be a frequent user of this product. Honestly, I tend to spend significantly less for more product, so for me personally it would be a once in a while product at best. But I did enjoy it, and it does seem to be a healthy product of good quality. Likes: - Plenty of healthy ingredients. - Lacking much of the unhealthy contents in other products. - Smells minty fresh when applying. (Reminds me of a fresh cut @ the barbers.) - Hair feels good after treatment. Soft / residue free / healthy feeling. Dislikes: - Due to the price per amount of product, I only see myself using this as a "once in a while" product, and not something I would purchase regularly at that price point. (This is obviously subjective, as I can appreciate that some folks may be happy paying more to enjoy using a quality product. I tend to lean more frugal in my hair products. - The "after scent" is interesting. The Initial minty scent is great, but after rinsing it out, the scent changes and is no longer really minty, but something else. Although this secondary scent reminds me of salon products. It's not my favorite (personal preference.). Would have preferred if the minty smell remained after rinsing. As weird as it may sound, I like when my hair smells so good it almost smells edible.

I waited to do a review to see if the results would be positive on my thinning 60 year old hair. The answer: Definitely! I suffered from post menopausal hair loss for 7 years and since using this serum consistently (3 to 5 times a week) for the past 4 months I can confidently say that my hair fall has been reduced by 75%. And while the regrowth has not been astounding there definitely is regrowth with baby hairs visibly showing at the hairline and at the crown. As others have said the smell is quite pleasant and, while it does make my fine hair a little slick, it doesn't matter as I only apply before bed and wash or rinse it out in the morning. Is it a miracle cure: No. But for the price point (and without the crazy chemicals) this serum is performing well enough to keep my hair fall to a minimum. I'm happy!
