Great dehumidifier. The MeacoDry works really well and noticeably improves air quality in the house. It quickly removes excess moisture and helps prevent damp, condensation, and that stuffy feeling in rooms. It’s quiet, easy to use, and very efficient even in larger spaces. Since using it, the home feels much fresher and more comfortable. One of the best purchases I’ve made for improving indoor air.

Works continuously since we got it few months ago. It’s very good and silent. Easy to maneouver as it has wheels. We have a teo bedroom flat and it is enough for us. Since then there’s no mould. A good value for money.

The Meaco arete 12 is working perfectly, it is cheap to run and does the job we bought it for! It’s easy to move around with its caster wheels and very simple to empty. My allergies (I’m very sensitive to humidity) got drastically better since we have this dehumidifier and we should have got it before! A big plus is that it helps us dry our laundry way quicker and our clothes stoped smelling a bit damp in the winter when it’s been very hard to get anything to dry within less than 36h before. The connected App work great we can remotely turn the dehumidifier on and off and have notifications when the tank is full. The capacity is good for our flat and and we empty it once a day once every two days depending on how humid it is outside and if we’ve cooked or done some laundry. The auto feature is great as well to keep the level of humidity to a descent level. Since we have it the Meaco has been on at all time running on auto mode and it’s pretty quiet.

I'm so impressed, as it was so easy to set up, clear, concise information booklet, well packaged and using the QR code, within seconds I was able to register for free, for the 5 year guarantee. I bought Meaco Fan earlier in the year, and I was very impressed with the quality, sturdiness and sleek design of both products. It's going to improve, my winter condensation issues, filter the dog fluff, extract and dry my washing, free my radiators up, and after much, deliberation, like you do, think I have a bargin and a super dehumidifier with hepa filter. With a spare filter thrown in. Also easy to move around, with a sturdy handle, which fits snuggly into the design of the machine. A no brainer. Very very impressed. 5* all the way.

Would thoroughly recommend this product if like me you live in a Victorian semi and suffer from excess moisture in the house. Absolutely first class product which also dries washing in around 6to 8 hours- ideal for those damp or very wet days we have.

Good and efficient but it’s loud at night. The night mode doesn’t actually reduce the noise, it only dims the button lights

I’ve been using this around my home for several weeks now and here’s the honest breakdown: **What I love This dehumidifier actually makes a difference — my damp room feels noticeably less clammy within a day or two of running it. The premium LCD display is really clear — I can see current vs target humidity at a glance and it feels far more intuitive than cheap LED lights. The built-in HEPA air purifier is a smart bonus — it seems to cut down on dust and pet dander when on air-purify mode, which is great for allergy season. App + voice control works well most of the time (Alexa/Google). Super handy when I want it on before I get home. On Laundry Mode this dries clothes much faster than air drying alone — noticeable difference even in winter. Quiet and energy-efficient — doesn’t cost much to run and I barely hear it on lower fan speeds. **What you should know The Wi-Fi/Meaco app connection can be finicky — sometimes reconnects easily, other times I have to reconnect manually. A few users online report similar frustrations. It might not completely eliminate high humidity in larger spaces on its own — in a big open plan you may need a bigger unit or doors closed to each room. **Bottom line: For a 12L unit, this strikes a great balance of performance, features, and low running cost. It’s not magic — dehumidifiers have limits — but for everyday damp problems and laundry drying it’s one of the better smart options I’ve used. Would recommend if you want both dehumidification and air purification with smart control.

Really impressed with the MeacoDry Arete Two 12L. It quickly brings humidity down and makes a big difference with condensation. The laundry mode is excellent and noticeably speeds up drying clothes indoors. It’s surprisingly quiet and cheap to run, so we’re happy leaving it on auto most of the time. The display is clear and easy to use, and the HEPA filter is a nice bonus for improving air quality. The app is good and I can control the unit with ease, the app also lets you know when the water collection needs emptied which I easy and quick to do. Overall, a solid, well-built dehumidifier that does exactly what it promises. Would happily recommend.

I've been using Meaco for over 20 years - amazing machines! The Arete two is not only more silent than the one but sucks more humidity. I still have one of my old Meaco's from 13 years ago. Best machines!

I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube before deciding on this. Having used this for the recent irish winter I wanted to leave my short review. I used it for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. I recommend downloading the Tuya app on Google play and adding the Areta to it. Works like a dream. You can even turn it on off when your not at home and you can use Alexa to work it if you have an Alexa device. No condensation on window, no damp air and no mold. Easy to empty and it looks the business too. Also the seller delivered it the next day. It is also an amazing air purifier and the laundry mode is so super handy in the winter.

Absolutely brilliant! No more condensation on windows with cold winter mornings, and air smells cleaner. It's amazing also how much water needs to be emptied every day. And the loveliest thing it is oh so quiet. Addicted to meaco products for their quality, their appreciation of silence and their super efficient products.

The product came, and it doesn't work properly. The screen was broken. To return the item, they sent me a label, but I have to pay for the cost of returning it. That's incredible. If you have any other seller closer to you, I think it's worth ordering it there.
