Laura Ashley Elveden Navy Stainless Steel 3L Stove Top Kettle

What a beautiful kettle! Came in good time, good quality, boils quite quickly, looks attractive and easy to wipe clean. A must for Laura Asjley fans or if you just want something a bit special. As recommend I use it on a small ring, boils just as quickly but keeps the handle cooler. Slightly darker in colour than my photo, navy.

Beautifully designed yet practical whistling kettle, great for the hob.

Beautiful design, however avoid buying it if you’re looking to use on gas stove. Loosing its beautiful appearance and yellowing quickly , after 1st use really which does not match item’s description/specification. Very disappointed as this was sent abroad as a surprise for Christmas.

This is a great whistle kettle, lives up to the laura Ashley name excellent design, fabulous colour( already got toaster) so really sets of my kitchen, excellent kettle is a big 3lt capacity, very easy to clean, well made, bit price but well worth the money. Excellent quality, excellent service, excellent warranty, design fabulous.

Nice kettle but smaller than we thought it would be. Handle does get quite hot thou even thou its got a silicon piece on it to protect your hand. It seems to of good build quality & the whistle is good.

I absolutely love this pretty kettle. I read the reviews that said it marked very easily on a gas hob but I think the people who wrote those reviews probably put their kettle onto a too large burner. I have used my kettle on a medium burner where the flames stay under the kettle and don’t burn up over the sides. I have had my kettle for a few weeks now and it is still as good as new, so not a problem. I highly recommend this beautiful kettle. The whistle is very loud (I can hear it at the end of my garden and I have a large garden). If you are looking for something a little different and very pretty then this is the kettle for you.

Aesthetically looks lovely, however practically it's not very well made. the whistle is very flimsy, and managing to hold the whistle up to open it so you can pour while hold the kettle is a bit tricky specially if you've only got small hands because it's gets very hot on the steel parts, so you have to use a oven Mit which makes it even harder to handle also the whistle doesn't always whistle so the base of mine got discoloured within a week oh and just to add to this, it takes between 15 to twenty minutes to boil So if I'm honest I wouldn't buy it personally I you are just buying the name and not a quality product

Pretty! Durable! And loud whistle. Be enchanted with the cordless freedom of a stove top kettle. Don’t leave hot kettle on a laminate bench top!

Beautiful

I've owned this kettle for almost two years and I'm thoroughly disappointed in the quality. After a few weeks the kettle started to discolour. I never used anything more than hot water to wash it, and never used it on a gas stove. Then a few months ago the pattern started to bubble and peel off around the handle and lid. I've had $8 Kmart kettles hold up longer and be in better condition. Definitely not worth $150 and not LA quality.

Colour is slightly different to the other Laura Ashley products with the same pattern and first time used on gas top the kettle totally discoloured like it couldn't handle the heat and burnt the paint. Not very ergonomical for pouring.
