I bought this for my electric composter that I use all winter. I rinsed the charcoal before using so definitely wear gloves when doing that. Once dried I replaced the old charcoal that was a year old and not masking the composting smell. Ince this new charcoal was in the composting smell was gone and has been gone since. I use my composter every few days. There’s plenty in the bags to last several years so it’s good value for money. There’s no lid on the bag so I clip it to close and store in a clean dry place.

If you are looking to replace your carbon filter for Reencle, look no further. This is way more cost effective than the advertised filter replacement on the Reencle website. I’ve attached photos to show exactly how to replace the carbon filter contents and it’s really foolproof. You basically unscrew the screws, throw away the used carbon pellets, refill, and top it off by removing the sticker that tells you to not remove. This product does the job of being a carbon pellet and is easy to use. It’s enough to refill the entire Reencle filter and I still have a half bag full. The pellets smell great and I highly recommend this product.

I love my Reencle composter, but it had been about a year and a half since I cleaned it, and it was starting to smell. I’m not sure exactly what I put in it that caused the issue, but it was bad. I used a bag of these, and the smell was gone within a few hours. Thanks for making my Reencle work well again!

These are the best indoor footwear during the fall, winter, and early spring. Our entire family loves them.

We use eco 5 every day (1 load per day). this carbon pallet only last 1-2 weeks capturing the oder and 3rd week start to have some sour smell and 4th week you will need to get a new pack due to the strong smell. not sure if this is how it is since we use the machine every day and almost fully loaded every time. But My memory on using the 1st carbon pallet that comes with the eco5 were last for one and half month before i felt i need to get a new pack to change it out. and now the food cycler offical website have sales on 4 pack for $67 , which each pack cost for $16.87 seems a better choic then this one

This carbon product is very good for cat litter boxes ( packet on top) also the eco composite machine. Do not put food in the bucket. Keep it in sorry busy right now ice cream container. Then dump into compost machine and the charcoal will last longer. Finally a product were you get you monies worth. Well done
