Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health Bird Food for Parakeets, 4 lb

I have used this seed for my bird. In the past, and he seems to like it o.k. I like to change his seed around once in a while. It is a change for him. The delivery was good. I like it when they buzz me to let me know that he is here with my parcel.

The product itself is good, my birds eat more of this than other brands I've tried. The loss of the star is aimed more at the workers that are putting them in the boxes to be shipped. I've gotten this twice now, first time with two bags and the second time with just one. All three came ripped in some way and were spilling seed into the box. I started ordering this on Amazon, hoping it would save the hour-long trip to the pet store (because the walmart close to us either doesn't sell the parakeet seed or they have such a limited supply that they sell out almost instantly) but I would rather do that than risk losing almost a quarter of a bag of seed every time. And yes, they are ripped, the openings in the bags have been in random places away from the seams. Someone needs to start paying attention to how they're cutting open the pallet to put them on the shelves, and getting rid of opened bags rather than shipping them out.

Great seed My parakeets would only eat little of other brands. I was changing food every day. But not with this brand

My parakeets been eating this since I got them and they look healthy and strong they really don’t like any other food at all, there are some treat sticks made out from the same brand and same ingredients I recommend those too, If you love your birds the same as I you will love this product too.

My birds love this mix of seed. Unfortunately they do not eat the pellets even after repeatedly being exposed to pellets. Pick little snits, lol. Anyway, the seed mixture is pleasing to the eye, I assume the mix is nutritionally good for the health of my parakeets, finches and dove. Decent amount of seed for the price.
