I'm writing this to answer a lot of the basic questions and cons i see in most reviews. I didn't buy these for elderly people, 300lb + people, or extremely skinny, tall, or other irregular shaped people. I am 5'10 240lbs, size 38 jeans. I have roughly 2-3 inches on both sides of me when i sit in this chair. My wife is 180lbs 5'6 and has no problem reclining in the chair nor putting the foot rest back in it's place, and she is extremely comfortable while reclining in any position. You -can- just use the heat without the massage, you just have to click it to normal mode massage, then click on each body part individually to turn them all off. I can sit with my legs crossed in the chair while reclined and in any other comfortable position I desire without feeling the stress of keeping the chair reclined. I also can comfortable 'half-way' recline, this is not a 100% or straight up chair as others have described. Again i am 5'10 240lbs, not a small dude. I bought one to try out, used it to watch LOTR 1 and a few other movies and never once was uncomfortable over the course of a couple of weeks. I invited some friends over who all sat in the chair a few times for 30 minutes or so each and every single one loved it. One person was 5'4 240lbs and had no complaints. It is -slightly- smaller than a full size recliner, but mainly just in height, not sitting width. The headrest is extremely pillowy and comfortable. I had zero issues putting all 4 together, no quality issues either. I now have 4 of these in a mancave/garage/theater room so they are not going to get daily use but so far have held up great. Again i am not running into my house and diving into the chair with my full weight, i am just using them to sit down and arrange myself in whatever position i desire while sipping adult beverages and watching movies. These are cheap price chairs, but under casual use i think they will last an extremely long time. I do not plan to use the rocking motion to stand on them and surf, nor do i plan to spin them around as fast as they can go. If you are hard on furniture, want to throw yourself at a chair when you get off work, or use your chairs as a jungle gym, these may not be for you. If you want a budget friendly comfortable chair for average use, then this thing is an extreme hit. Send me any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them.

I give 4-5 stars for this product. For the price, it is a very well built recliner. Easy to assemble in 15 mins. The massage is obvious helping my back's blood circulation with the heat. I was a bit skeptical about the negative review of "only vibration, no massage" from one person. But in my opinion, with many months of chiropractic and medical massage service received for my back pain (due to auto accident), my back feels hot and itch every time I use the heated massage, meaning my blood circulation was very much better. Yes, so I give five starts on the overall rating. One weakness of this chair is that due to massage bumps installed underneath the cushion, I can feel the two big bumps underneath my thighs. Back and hip area are fine with more cushions. But, thigh area have two big bumps for massage with thinner cushion. So, it is a bit uncomfortable to sit without reclining position as I feel the bumps underneath my thighs whenever I sit on it. Also, massaging is a bit loud. When you watch a quiet drama on TV, this may interrupt your concentration especially on the headrest area. It is a bit loud (not louder than other massage chairs though) for a quiet time. So, I do massage in the living room not to interrupt other family members' sleep. The ivory color looks so clean and beautiful. Very spacious. My two little kids (8 and 4 years) can sit together to watch a movie. With reclining position, this is the best recliner ever. I don't feel the bumps underneath my thighs. It is just well build as a recliner. I can't wait for this winter in upstate NY with heated massage every evening after work. Also about customer service, my first order had a defect on the right arm. Very soon, the email reply and exchange was made. Very effective and the delivery was right in front of my door in a few days only. The customer representative was very responsible taking care of this exchange request promptly. I give 5 stars on easy to assemble and sturdiness after using this recliner for a few weeks so far. I give four stars on comfort just because of the two big massage bumps in thigh area. Other that that, the price, the quality, the comfort are highly satisfactory. Thanks to the company. I have no regret on the purchase. And if I happen to move to a new house in a few years, I may purchase more of these again! Ivory color again!

Overall the chair is comfortable when in the reclining position. The upright position, however, is not as comfortable because I can't seem to get it to recline without the footrest up. If it is designed to recline without the footrest and am told how to make it work, then I will certainly update this review. There are a few other points that I feel are necessary to point out. Assembly: SUPER EASY! Of course, this is coming from someone who may have missed the mark since it doesn't recline upright -- but that may be a chair flaw versus the assembly flaw. Literally it is just two pieces to put together. You attach the wires for heat and massage then voila! I will state that I received the two boxes one day after another versus at the same time -- but the first half came earlier than expected. I'm not sure how that worked out - but I still received the /whole/ chair in a timely manner. Massage: The head pillow is a bit too firm for my taste and you have to ensure your head is positioned directly in the center if selecting the massage feature (or else you'll feel like you're being hit instead of massaged). The massage throughout the chair is strong enough to meet my needs, I just wish it was more of a wave than a pulse - but I work around that by just setting the chair to a whole body continuous massage. Footrest: I have wide hips, so the pulley for the footrest isn't too convenient because it is on the inside of the chair, but it is not a deal breaker. It's just a little shift of the weight and then the lever is easily accessible. As most other reviews stated, the footrest is difficult to put back down -- but this is not enough of an issue to regret the purchase. The elderly with weak leg muscles may want to reevaluate, though. Accessories: The pockets are handy and well sewn on. I can easily fit multiple magazines or bulky newspapers in the side pockets. The front pockets are perfect for holding my cellphone and other miscellaneous items. The cup holders aren't very big; coffee mugs nor rocks/whiskey glasses can fit, however a basic wine glass and/or tumbler will fit same as a soda/beer can. All inclusive, it is a good purchase. The price fits the quality. ((But again, I'd like to know if it reclines without the footrest up as that would make it /that/ much better!))

I absolutely love this chair. I got it originally to help recover from a 6 week surgery as getting in and out of bed was going to be extremely difficult, especially without help. It ended up coming earlier than expected. Simple: The chair is extremely easy to assemble as it comes in 4 basic parts. The arms you need to slide into their holders and if you end up missing a holder, a simple tap of a hammer should force it free. The back you simply slide into the base after connecting the arms, then simply connect the cables. Comfortable: I've pretty much lived out of this thing for 6 weeks, if that tells you anything. Even after recovery I live in this chair either doing homework, watching TV, and or playing video games. It leans back a fair amount with a slight angel right above fully laying flat down. So you do need some space behind the chair if you are planning on reclining in it often. Small critiques of wishing for slightly larger cup holders (can easily house a can or something shaped like a Starbucks cup), longer foot rest (I'm 5'5 and my feet dangle over), and a stronger heating and massage element, but both still being decent and relaxing. Support: I honestly can't say much about the customer service team as I didn't have to contact them because I had no problems with the chair. They did email me a separate tracking number rather than relying solely on Amazon's. Everyone who visits my home absolutely loves the chair- all of them being of different body types and heights. This is an overall great chair worth the price.

I've had this recliner for a little over two years and decided to write a review as a shop for a replacement... It serves as my office/game chair and gets a *lot*of use (8-12hrs/day), so after two years it's definitely suffering from wear and tear. The chair was great for awhile, no issues with assembly or quality, and the chair was pretty comfortable. That said, the massage/vibrating things aren't padded and you can feel them from day 1, fine if you're using them, not fine if you aren't. After 2-3 months, the leg rest started having issues opening and closing, the latching mechanism sticks. After a year, the fake leather started peeling, mostly around the headrest and back. A seat cover helped that issue though it's still flaking off. The main reason I'm now replacing it is the padding has all been crushed down and it's increasingly uncomfortable. Overall, it was a good chair, and I used it far more heavily than would be typical.

I've owned the chair for about a week and it has its flaws. The lower back cushion sticks out a little farther than necessary but I'm hoping that goes away after a few months of being broken in. I'm near 200 pounds and 5' 9" so I might be taller than most people who are purchasing this recliner. The major problem I have with the recliner is there's no neck support because the head rest is too far back to reach my head. The first day I owned the recliner I had neck cramps from not realizing I was holding my head forward to look straight across the room at the television. I cook lean back in the recliner in a sitting stance but would be staring at the ceiling from having to lean back. While putting a pillow in place does work for a while you have to maneuver it around ever so often to stay comfortable and it becomes a nuisance. I decided to once again use Amazon search to find something that would support my head and neck and come across the Bowerbird Leather Recliner Head Pillow. After waiting 2 days for the recliner pillow to arrive it was a natural fit and feels like it's attached to the recliner while using the chair. The recliner now feels like a much more expensive brand recliner. Overall this recliner chair is great once I attached the headrest I purchased separately. I removed 2 stars from the support feature and 1 star from the overall rating because there is no neck support. The recliner needs a redesign to allow users to adjust the headrest. UPDATE: I'm changing my review to 2 stars because of the headrest support is a huge nuisance. I should not have had to pay extra for a headrest. I'm hoping Amazon will accept a return since the chair has been discontinued. UPDATE JUNE 21, 2023. I'm changing my review to 1 star. The manufacturer refused a return and no longer responds to messages. I tried contacting Amazon to return the chair over the following months and was denied several times. The metal pieces inside the chair are coming apart within the armrest side panels. I've added pictures to show the damage. I hope the chair doesn't break while I'm sitting in it.

This is an excellent product for its price! I didn't realize how much I'd fall in love with the heating, massage, rocking, and swivel features of the chair. I am 5'3" so the seatpan is about 2" too deep for me, but a well-sized pillow cushion takes care of that (obviously when I am not intending to use the heating or massage features.) I bought this for my hobby room so I am fine that the chair is only single-stitched, the material is faux leather, the recliner release handle seems a bit cheap, cup holders' circumference seems a tiny bit under-sized, and the reclining foot rest is a little stiffer than I'd like when trying to switch from reclining to sitting positions. The seatpan is a good width for me and I can comfortably sit cross-legged in the chair. If this were for my living room, I'd opt for paying a little more for higher craftsmanship to impress guests, but this is exactly perfect for what I was looking for: a personal comfortable recliner where I can lounge as I read/crochet/rest/use my laptop/whatever and even swivel to gaze out my window. I love it!

This recliner was supposed to come next week but it came in four days. I am 65 years old with osteoarthritis everywhere. I was able to get the 2 boxes inside by myself, unwrap and remove boxes and put it together within an hour. If you think that’s a long time believe me it is not for me. It went together easy for the most part. The most difficult for me is putting the back on because I had a hard time lifting and inserting it at the same time as I could not see and lift it at the same time. I plugged everything in and it all worked! The massage and heat work great and do work separately. I do not have any trouble lifting the foot rest with the pull ring and closing because it is a petite chair. It stays reclined when I am am using the recline. Now if anything is different in 3 months I will add to my review. For the price I think it will be a great recliner. You must put the arms on first then the back then hook all the plugs up. If I can put it together almost anyone can do it. Very comfortable.
