I ended up going from a level 10 bleached blonde down to a level 7 dark blonde with a well known permanent hair dye brand, and I wasn't happy with the results. I ended up with a slightly greenish 'hollow' muddy brown look that I wasn't happy with. So I came across this product in 'bronde' and read some reviews, and thought well, for the money, let's give it a go! I'm glad I did! I'm the mask added some lovely deep tones to my hair that has ridden me of the horrible green tinge jn my hair, and has given me a lovely dark blonde. I left the mask in for about half hour, completely saturating my hair, then conditioned for a minute just to add moisture and I ended up with lovely, well conditioned and shiny hair, thats absorbed the colour evenly. The smell is lovely, easy enough to use, and I think the price is really good. I had to out quite a lot on my hair just to ensure the green tone was taken out, but I believe that you can also mix these colour bombs together to make a perfect tone which is good, so if I decide I want to transition to a richer brown colour, I can mix in with warm blonde to make into a nice golden dark blonde/light brown colour. These hair masks are so much better than permanent dye. Permanent dye is so unpredictable and damaging so after using this mask I was able to achieve the colour I wanted. Not sure how long it will last as its only been a day since I've done it, but it definitely works. Leaves hair well conditioned, shiny and covers hair strands with no damage! What more can a girl want eh? I would recommend!!! Update: I HAVE CURRENTLY USED THE NEW 'JEROME RUSSELL BRUNETTE' IN COOL BROWN, and it didn't take to my hair like the 'bronde' in this original review did. Didn't cover my natural hair or greys, and the colour didn't even take to my already medium brown hair. It did however leave it nice and shiny and helped the condition of my hair. But the brunette colour is very pricey for what it is £14.99, and because it didn't work the way intended, I wouldn't recommend this particular colour in the brunettes range. Overpriced and ineffective and I'm very disappointed. For this I'd give a 2 STAR only for the condition and shine it leaves afterwards.

I wanted to go to a dark blonde from a dark brown and paid 2 full head of highlights at the hairdressers. After the second time of highlights even with a purple toner (due to previous box dyes) my hair had white roots, and yellow, blonde brown, red and ginger parts! It was so bad i walked home with a hood up thinking i will need a brown box dye straight away and had wasted alot of money.As a last resort i tried this . I bought bronde and ice blonde and mixed them together as didnt want it too white or brown and the results are amazing ! A lovely multi tone even colour which has toned the brassy parts and now looks how i wanted in fact maybe even better . I wish i had a before photo . Brilliant .

I bought the blonde. My hair is blonde and the color was actually ok, I just wanted it more even toned. I squirted it onto my hand and was shocked to see it was dark brown. I should have gone with my instinct but I gave it the benefit of doubt. I left it on for 8 minutes not 10 because I could see my hair was really dark. I washed it off and shock horror my hair was dark brown. I washed it 4 times before it was passable as a blonde. My hair wasn’t even conditioned it was incredibly rough like I’d put vinegar on it. Stay away from it

Best for fully blonde hair. If you have any brown hair it will turn orange.. leaves hair feeling soft!

Impressed after first use. Bought this after a full head of highlights and feeling a bit like a traffic light - too ‘bleach look’ with a stripe of roots after a couple of weeks. Put this on and it has turned out really nice - it’s has blended with my roots and gone like a dirty dark blonde. Not sure how many washes one application will last but really like the colour.

The hair gets charcoal colour not blonde!!

The quality of the item was good, but the packaging was not sufficient and the product had leaked out into the box. This happened twice, the first time i didn't complain but on the second delivery i requested a refund.

I love this. My hair and roots are a gingery blonde and I have grown out bleached balayage that has stayed white/mismatched since I last went to the salon two years ago. I was looking to add colour to my ends without paying the price tag of £150 salon visit and this did the trick without the damage. It evened out my hair colour and gave it more depth (darker colour is after application) I left in on for around ten minutes and couldn’t be happier with the result. Will buy again!
