One of my favorites
I love this book. This classic by Phillipe Aries gives an account of how there have always been children, but not in all cultures has there been a sense of childhood. A very interesting book that does not require a historian to understand it. The binding is a plain paperback that doesn't do the text justice, though it stands up well to the years.
