Brook Wingman XE 2 Converter - Two in One Wireless Controller Adapter for PS, Switch Consoles, and PC, Supports Remap Adjustable Turbo, Blue

Works as expected for converting PS5 controllers to the PS3 and Switch effortlessly, just plug in and and sync and you're ready to go in about 5 seconds. All buttons and gyro work as expected. Speed is excellent as far as adapters go and you wouldn't really notice any input delay. Wired option is good for non-wireless peripherals. Quality is good, as is usual for Brook (I also have their PS2 Wingman, which is similarly great) which helps justify the priciness, cheaper adapters are available but having used many of them, they usually aren't as stable or reliable as the Brook when it comes to connectivity.

I've never been a fan of the Playstation stick layout and was initially looking for a third party controller for my newly acquired PS4, none of them looked to be a good option. Then this adaptor was recommended to me and I took a chance on it. Plugged in my wired Xbox 360 controller and there was no setup needed, I'm now using the Xbox controller to play my PS4 games. The only real downside is that you lose a little of the PS4 controller functionality. You don't get the Share button as the Select button gets mapped as a touchpad click and of course there's no touchpad functionality at all. It's not been a problem in the games I am playing but it is worth checking to see if the game you want to play uses it. While I admit I initially balked at the price it has has proven to be worth every penny being able to play PS4 games with a more comfortable stick layout.

The Brook Wingman XE 2 Converter has worked wonders for my PS3 and has breathed new life into it! I tried out the SIXAXIS function on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune by replaying a chapter that uses it (the SIXAXIS function is a requirement in the game and is not optional). The PS5 controller that I connected to it works like a charm! The vibration also works well. I tried a few games and can now be confident in going in to completing my PS3 backlog. 90% of the backlog are single player epics that still have trophies that I need to collect. So far it seems it is the perfect plug and play solution to use new controllers with PS3. Bought to replace a different aftermarket controller with a PS5 DualSense as my other controller was not very comfortable to use. Simply plugged this into the console, plugged the controller into this dongle and immediately paired with no issue. The other bonus is it supports motion control which some PS3 games required and the other controller did not have which many aftermarket controllers don’t.

I have a PS3, but have been using DualShock 4 controllers with it for games due to preference. WITHOUT this adapter, many of the functions of the DS4 are not recognized by the PS3 console such as: Gyro/6-Axis motion controls do not work, PS Home Button does not do anything, cannot use wireless to play PS2 games, as well as unstable connections. This adapter, although a little pricy, fixes all of these issues easily and gives my DS4 controllers all of the additional functionality that was missing. The connection has been perfectly stable, my battery life has on my controller has actually gotten slightly better, and I have been able to enjoy my games to a much fuller extent. Motion controls, vibration in games, and the PS home button perform perfectly and there is basically no input lag. Legacy game support (PS1, PS2, PSP) is flawless as well. This is an excellent little adapter that gives my old PS3 a modern controller advantage. The only negative I have had so far is that you cannot turn the console ON with the controller using this adapter.
