Perfect addition, a bit of work to put on but well worth it.

They put a ton of detail, time and effort into this design. I would highly recommend it. I plugged my usb into a wall charger though. Otherwise, you will go through a set of batteries every day. It took me probably 6 hours to do, but the instructional video online was extremely helpful.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BRIXMAX! Our kit was missing parts. They were not helpful in supplying the kits’ missing parts. We bought the missing bricks from LEGO and we are still missing a wire. The last wire. We are now stuck with a project that is 99% complete. We have made contact with these sellers and they have not rectified the problem after six weeks. The rating system won’t allow me to give 0 stars.

I got this kit because of the good reviews, but I was disappointed with the results. Pros: Lots of lights. Cool flame effect for the torches. Instructions are available in pdf form which is good because the printed manuals are small. Cons: The wires are black and white, making them very obvious from the outside. The instructions have you running up to four wires under some of the bricks so they don’t fit well. The connector blocks are ugly and really stand out. Some of the light strips are just stuck on the outside, not hidden. Ultimately I have to say that it looks good in the dark, but in the light I think the kit kind of ruins it.

The light on top never worked and the lights on the top half stopped working after a couple months. Return window closed so I guess I’m out of luck.

I have installed both Bricksmax and Lightailing on my LEGO sets. They both have pros and cons. I went with Bricksmax for this one because I prefer the minimal exit wiring and the individualized lights. It is a tedious process. Be prepared for 6-8 hours of work. If that turns you off, stop now. The instructions are pretty good, but I don’t think I could have completed this without occasional reference to the YouTube video. I also recommend you have the original LEGO assembly instructions available for reconstruction. The end result is breathtaking. It was a fun challenge to install and a brilliant result.

I was a little sceptical about purchasing this brand again as I had some bad experiences and n the past, but since they’ve redesigned a few things it made this build pretty easy! took about 4hrs straight, the set fits back together very nicely and the cable management was pretty A+ on this set you can barely see Any cables from the front or side views, if you’re looking for a more affordable light kit for this set, this is it!

Not for your average joe but worked beautifully. Very good quality and directions. Highly recommended. Worth the time is takes with out a doubt.
