Just what I needed and it works.

Worked perfectly for connecting 2 separate extension tubes in order to get proper bend for window venting

Worked well to connect a hose installed from my previous portable AC unit to the one that came with the new new AC unit. The one side went on easily first try but the other end took a bit more time as with the one side on the positioning was at a more difficult angle.

A must for portable A/C exhaust. Necessity to add another length of 5.1" hose. So much length lost making the bends to get to the window. Seems to reduce amount of leakage at unit & window fittings since double hose has less tension at the ends. Good purchase.

Great for adapting two hoses. The ring in the middle allows you to have something to hold onto, if the hoses are not cooperating. The ring is also helps to provide a guide for applying duct tape. It worked so well, I bought two (one for intake and one for exhaust.

I use this to connect my old 5.1" AC duct to my new AC with a 5.9" duct. I had to remove the existing connectors on the ends of the new and old ducts before attaching the adapter. Then I screwed the 2 ducts into the adapter. I've been running the AC all afternoon with no issues. The adapter stays connected and there is no air escaping from the adapter. Trust me, I'm not the least bit mechanically inclined but I got it to work just fine.

Only kind of worked. The one that goes over the tubes works much better, but I can’t find it—so bought this as a replacement. We’ve had to add duct tape to keep air from escaping the connection. It’s solid plastic, very hard to install, and absolutely not worth a dime.

I have 2 of these and was able to extend the ac way out into the room, 16 feet from the window if I need to. I haven't tried the OD, just the inside so far
