Brilliant Value strong tool

Did the job on my 530 chain but I doubt it can be used again , one of the pins snapped and the U shape body bent so it’s going in the bin now but what do you expect for this price . They should use a bearing in the anvil to sway the new pins when riveting and the threaded hold in the body is a weak point too .

The pin mushroomed on first use even though it’s a brand new chain and I ground of the rivet head first. Must be very weak metal

I had to shorten a 520 chain it did the job although my chain is connected together with a spilt pin so I couldn't test the riveting feature so can't rate that part. It was very easy to use but it came with no instructions (if you're ordering one of these you should know how to put it together anyway)

It’s a good little tool very easy to use I had no problem with it good value for money

The tools are adequate for the job but quality could be better especially if to use professionally.

Rubbish don’t waste your time! Bends on first use took me 3 hours to finally shorten a chain. Only really OK for splitting the chain not reassembling I used a vice mixed with this tool to reassemble but was still a struggle!

I tried to troubleshoot through the options with Amazon, and it seems easy enough, pretty straightforward, but the pins are not nearly as heavy duty as I assumed they would be. The 2.2mm (thinnest) pin as I was trying to break the T8F chain for my mini Moto, the pin bent. So I bent it back, then it bent again. So I tried the next size up, the 2.9 mm; and it started to bend, can’t use the 3.8 or the riveter because they’re too big. I would absolutely hate to have to leave a bad review, so I’m looking for some help here
