This sewing basket is large enough to easily fit all my sewing accessories. I love the old fashioned appeal of the floral print.

This sewing basket is very pretty, well made and just what I need for my sewing needs. The tray is perfect for small accessories and it's plenty deep to store other items. I couldn't be happier with it. I have a sewing basket of my grandmother's but I can't bring myself to take her things out to put my things in, so I bought my own sewing basket. I hope one day my granddaughter treasures this sewing basket as much as I treasure my grandmother's. I do think this basket will stand the test of time.

I’ve never had a sewing basket, I’ve always repurposed other boxes. I’m not an avid sewer, just needed something for mending supplies. I love this sewing basket! It was bigger than expected, but decided not to exchange on advice of mother in-law. It’s sturdy enough for my use, however if you were going to fill it up heavy you might need something different. The plastic tray is very sturdy, the finger grips in middle make it easy to pull out. This has plenty of room with compartments for supplies and makes it easy to see and find everything. I put it on a shelf on my entertainment unit. It is too pretty to put in a cabinet! This would make a great gift for someone just starting out or for a mender.

It looks like the picture and fits nicely on my bookshelf for easy access. Plenty of room for the basic supplies that I keep. I might buy some plastic bins to organize the stuff on the bottom. I took off a star bc the pin cushion had fallen off mine, the top doesn’t appear to be stitched well, and the closure is just a cloth flap. It should be made better for the price.

This is a nice little sewing caddy. I got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loved it.

Pros: The basked is very sturdy, appears to be well made and is very pretty. Cons: I was trying to replace an old basket with one of the same or larger size. When I measured the inside dimensions of my old basket, they matched the dimensions listed for this basket so I thought it would be the same size. However, the inside dimensions of this basket (large size) are 10.5" x 7.5" x 5". The pocket inside the lid can hold only very flat, thin items. If the pocket is filled to capacity, the lid won't close. The capacity of the basket is smaller than I wanted. Recommendation: Very pretty, appears to be sturdy; Capacity is smaller than expected. Pocket inside lid is of limited use. Highly recommended if you know ahead of time that the internal capacity is smaller than the dimensions given.

I have lived my entire adult life without a sewing basket and now I wonder why. I don't sew very much but every once in a while I need to do something and I have to search through old cookie tins to find a needle somewhere. This is the perfect size for my humble assortment of sewing notions and I can organize things perfectly.

It's big, it has a tray, it looks OK despite the funny smell inside. But this is definitely not the sewing basket of yesteryear. Feeling through the fabric exterior, the construction seems to be a thin wooden frame, with the walls and floor themselves made of MDF so thin it's effectively cardboard. I'd consider this basket worthwhile at $30, but at $70 seems wildly overpriced for the quality. For comparison, you can get a hardshell carry-on suitcase for that price, and that's a bigger, heavier, more difficult-to-manufacture item.
